Before, because you're building up your body's metabolism to burn calories AS you eat . . . just don't eat too fast before you do.

If you were able to work out effectively, then yes, but concentrate on the protein and cut back on the bread, potatoes & noodles. You still need the protein regardless of the sport for which you are training! One caveat is that you should not eat, then immediately start working out because muscle activity requires increased blood flow. Right after you eat, you need more blood around your digestive tract to process your food to get the most nutrition from what you've eaten.

Also depends on the time of day. If you're working out in the late afternoon and haven't eaten anything all day, you're likely to feel unwell.

hi!
its better to eat soon but not immediately before your workout because you may get cramps during a workout. your digestive system uses 40% of your energy/oxygen in your body.
if you workout on an empty stomach, your body scrambles to get energy and the fastest means of getting is it through breaking down your lean muscle mass, so make sure you eat before!
also ive read some studies that stated that more calories were actually burned during the workout if you fuel up first.

Eat something no sooner than 1 hour before you exercise or else you will find you get dizzy due to low blood sugar levels.
try perhaps a protein shake with a banana, or something like that.

I have been told that the best time to exercise is before you eat breakfast. I cannot tell you why that works, it is just what I have been told.
