My treadmill's got a pre-set program for losing weight; what it does is it varies the speed --slow to fast and is timed at 24 minutes. I don't really use this as I don't feel in control, I just manually raise the speed up and down between 2.5 to 3.7mph and I walk for about an hour. Also try the trial membership at http://coreperformance.com to customize your workout. Good luck to us!!!

I would say that fine.. you could always increase if you would want to.. like the workout is getting to easy for you.. so I would suggest slowly increasing the amount you run or walk. Walking/running is good for losing weight.

you should do more. to burn fat you have to do cardio 4-6 times a week for 30-50min - ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat and combine it with light weight training because cardio burns both - fat and muscle (more muscle=faster metabolism)
you also have to eat healthy and plenty to lose fat - if you deprive yourself you will only lose water weight and muscle and slow down your metabolism

Sit ups, crunches, push up, run, eat healthier, just exercise. You have probably heard it all your life...Thats because its what works
