even though i am between thinking God guided evolution and thinking He put everyone on here at once, i have a very hard time believing we all came from apes. if they needed to evolve, why are there still apes around? and we accept the fact that we came from the earth because God said so and its in the book of Genesis.

Better check your facts. Evolutionist don't even believe that you came from apes. They believe that humans and apes came from the came common ancestor.
As far as worm food... take away the water in your body and what are you left with? Just minerals from the soil. Fancy that, straight from the Old Testement.

Most "Creationists" simply do not stop to understand the evolutionary process, and use their one source (Bible) as the ONLY source of information...so limiting to the mind & spirit, but to each their own, right?
We evolved, just like all species upon this sphere, from the materials presented by it. The main difference between us (human creatures) and others, is that we are not only of this Earth...we are bi-integral beings...the vehicles (bodies) based in Earth, & spirit (our true energy essence) which occupy these vehicles to suit our purpose(s) here.
All instances provide opportunity for experience...all phases of every evolutionary process...they are never ending, always changing tools...playgrounds of sorts...which allow us the chance to be...to create. You see, although catagorized as "Creationists", you will rarely find one who will accept that they have the power to "create"...hence relieving them of much of the responsibilities of their choices in doing so...go figure! LOL

All the "ape-like" fossils in existence could not fill a single coffin and the interpretation of every single bone found is in contention amongst the best minds in modern science...

Because a person can see bio-degeneration first hand but no one lives long enough to watch evolution in animals or plants. Just a guess.

It takes too much faith to believe that we came from monkeys.
Go ahead and take the lead my primate friend...
