DO NOT ANSWER THE E-MAIL! It is a SCAM! They are just trying to get your personal information and get money out of you.
They tell you you've won, but then tell you that you will have to put a small 'fee' to claim your winnings. When you do that, say bye to your fee and any winnings. The winnings never existed and now you are out the fee you paid.
You will see e-mails from supposedly Microsoft/AOL, Yahoo, and many more. They are all scams.
Another e-mail scam is people writing about having 'cancer' and having millions of dollars in a bank they need to find the owner for.
These usually come from overseas. Check the e-mail address. It's probably from COX.net, yahoo.uk, yahoo.de, or places similar.
IGNORE THEM. Mark them as SPAM and move on!

No you haven't - it's a scam. To win UK Lottery you have to have bought a ticket. If not, then how can you win?

The ploy is - you will need to pay a certain amount to release the funds or to pay tax on them (BTW tax is already uincluded in you stake in UK).

If you want to "play along" ask for the detaisl and when they ask for your payment - tell tehm to take it from your winnings and send you the Net amount. They don't like that at all.

if you have won anything legitimate, they will send it to you. They will make it clear and they will contact you. DO not give out personal details - as this is most likely a scam. Thousands of people have written on here, saying they think they have won this or that - it is always a scam to get your details.

Its spam, but its well worth just typing a short message where to stick the prize, it will at least prevent you from receiving other crap from that site, they will delete you file name, as they won't want to waste time answering your abuse in the future. It works, I've done it several times, tell you friends and work mates to do the same, it keeps these **** busy, and it whines them up, I know I am a retired copper.

I got one too. This is a scam & they are fake. If you send a responding Email to them you will get one back saying they need you to contact them with your shipping information, then they want you to pay to have your so called winnings shipping to you. This is how they get your money. It's a waste of time & if you're not careful it could be a waste of your money to.
