There are many good tequilas, Tesoro, Don Julio, Chinaco... My favorite is Casa Noble

"Casa Noble ultra premium tequilas begin as carefully selected individual 10 year old plants of Blue Agave. Each one must meet the strict requirements for water and sugar content. We slow-cook them for 38 hours in stone ovens.

Then, using only the core and hearts of the agaves, we extract their robust juice. The fermentation process is 100% natural, followed by a triple distillation. The result is a tequila so pure and full of agave flavor that it has elevated the concept of tequila to new levels around the world.

Casa Noble Tequila Produced and Bottled in Mexico. 40% Alc/Vol (80 Proof). 100% Blue Agave."

Not to make this too complicated, but it depends what you want it for! For drinking straight-up, you need a good quality "reposado", which literally means "rested" (mellowed). Try Herradura Reposado or Don Julio Reposado, they're the best. For a Margarita, go for the Herradura white. Stay away from Jose Cuervo and Sauza, they'll give you a headache. Trust me, I'm Mexican!

my mother prefers Cabo wabo Repasodo. She likes Patron Anejo second. She was a bartender. SHe says she likes Cabo Wabo better because it has a bite to it. When she Polish off another bottle, I am thinking of buying Casa Nova for her. I heard good things. FYI, you do not have to say Mexican Tequila. ALl Tequila, by law, are from Mexico.

Patron is supposedly the best. It's certainly the most expensive tequila that is commonly sold.

For something in a more affordable price range, Cuervo Gold or one of the other Cuervo private reserves is probably the best bet.

consumer for taquila. Stoli is impressive for a sweeter, cordial vodka. gray Goose for a extra dry style. Ketel One for a vodka that has no style yet continues to be gentle. Im from the united statesof A the place all of us ought to handle Pres. Bush a approach or the different! Lol!

I used to work for a liquor distributor and did alot of "testing".

Patron is smooth and has a nice after taste.
Regular Jose Cuervo is good if you want to drink to get drunk and don't care about the taste or you're doing the shot and a beer type of drinking.
It's all a matter of taste.

Thats easy, its Baranca Mixteco, its very commercial in Mexico and all South American areas. Tastes wicked, you dont get a hangover with it either, if you don't mind the little worm at the bottom. Just be careful with the stuff, you can run your car on it and you don't want to end up like the worm.

not sure what the best mexican brand of tequila there is......but i do recall one time going to a party...the guy had cut a lid off the watermelon, scooped out the inside melon, put into a bowl.....poured a bottle of tequila into the watermelon, poured the melon back into the watermelon......put lid on, lean against side of fridge for a couple of hours so alcohol can absorb into the watermelon,........serve in cup or small bowl.....EnjoY*
