Hmmmm.....there are two lines of thought. In the Old Testement, there was a command from God to be fruitful and multiply. In the New Testement, Paul makes a case for being single. You can stay single. The only problem would be sex. If you can avoid sex, great! If not, get married.

No, in fact there are parts in the bible that reference this.
Some people are just not meant to be married,
I married two different women and both ended in disaster.
I really doubt that I will ever marry again. But never say never.
So many people are married that shouldn't be. To maintain a standard of living, or my favorite "for the kids".
The kids are probably sick of hearing Mom & Dad fighting all the time.
So consider yourself lucky. It may just not be for you.

Well---Paul advised men not to marry women--but then again--Paul hated women with a passion--blaming them all for the sins of that evil trollop Eve.

Of course not! Paul the apostle said in one of his letters that he wished people could remain single. It is fine to be married, it is fine not to be married.

i believe that if you have not found true love then why not just have fun staying single cause if you have a lover then there is nothing much you can do everything gets limited to pretty much nothing unless you have female/male friends and your lover is with you.

According to religion, it is NOT a sin to be single or even not have children. Being single and having children is a choice. God created people of many different gender, color etc. and if we were to be the same in every way then god would have only created just men and just white people. But he didn t! This is a world of diversity and we are not all robots programmed a like. As a bonus, Government does not tell you to get married and have children either. It s just a old fashion tradition made up by people and as they say "Old habits are hard to break".

No, not at all. The Catholic Church recognizes the lay single life as a real vocation.
