Easy, Drink only water and walk everyday at a fast pace. Stay away from candy and cakes and eat a lot of raw veggies. Take smaller portions of all your meals and have nothing 2 hrs before bedtime except water. Get lots of rest and make a schedule to eat , walk and sleep. Don't think of this as being hard to do. Think of this as fun and when you walk do it in different places and enjoy the scenery. Good Luck and have fun!

Keep a food diary for at least a week. Don't try to change your eating just write it down if it goes in your mouth. So you might have 1 bagel(list brand) with 1 oz cream cheese or what ever coffee with 1 tsp sugar and 1/2 oz cream 2 M&Ms what ever all day every day for a week. Then look at what you eat, See any patterns. Can you substitute some thing more healthy with less calories, Try to plan to cut 500 cal. from your norm. This will help you lose 1 lb/wk Then do the same with excersize. Many people find that just by writing everything down they lose weight. You are less likely to eat without thinking. When you look at patterns of food add veggies, subtract sweetened ice tea, coffee drinks, and chips and things. If you really miss them make sure you are eating only a few. Mark the calories on an individual pkg. then figure what excersize you would have to do to work it off. Is it worth it? If yes ok have your treat but then make sure you do the excersize to work it off. Hope this helps. Good luck. Then look at excersize patterns add at least 10 min of excersize ea. day. this will increase your metabolism. Each week add another 10 min. a day of excersize. Once you hit 30 min. each day try for 3-5 days per week with up to 60 min./day. This will help a lot. The exercise can be 10 min. at a time.

When putting together a weight loss plan it is important to involve your doctor to discuss potential risks if there are any underlying health issues for you. For example, if you have a bad back, there are some exercises that you should avoid and some that will help relieve pain or not imapct on it. Even if you think there are no problems, you should get a thorough check up with your doctor (eg. blood pressure, weight monitoring, blood tests, etc). As well as making sure you're in good health, they will support and encourage you (well I hope they do, if not get another doctor) they will be able to put you on a healthy eating plan and exercise regimen. Please be careful when taking advice from others as what is best for them may be detrimental to your health and well being.

As far as exercise goes, it is best to do something you enjoy. I like swimming cos it's low impact on my body. Some people like the great outdoors and nature so hikes may be their thing. Don't be afraid to try different exercises but be aware that you may not necessarily love the exercise but it can be more bearable especially if you have a friend to work out with.

Please do not look for fad diets where you lose lots of weight very quickly as these can cause serious health problems. It's best to stick to a healthy eating and exercise plan (as opposed to a diet that you just stick with til you feel sick or just get bored with it).

I hope you are serious about losing weight RESPONSIBLY as its a lifestyle choice not just a holiday from junk food. Please allow yourself treats occassionally and set goals. When you reach these goals, you can plan a reward for yourself such as a day out shopping, a massage or new clothes. It helps to have an incentive to reach your mini goals. Don't aim too high or be unrealistic. Understand there will be good days and bad days but thats normal- don't be discouraged.

Best of luck to you

There are so many different ways you can loose weight but any way you choose you have to be disciplined and stick to it. Just remember your goal and how good you will look and feel when you reach it. I have lost 35 lbs since October and I have done a few different things. I did nutrisystem for a while but it can be expensive. I also did Weight Watchers. They have a good plan there. I do a lot of running and weight training. It is best to do both cardio and weights for effective weight loss. You not only will loose weight but gain muscle which looks better. What ever you decide to try just stick to it and you will see results. And as much as we want to loose the weight quickly, remember it takes time. You dont want to loose it too quickly cuz it wont look good or will come back easily. Be patient with it. Good luck!

Try to start by cutting carbs. Avoid too much bread, pizza, and sugar, and try eating more light fare like salads and protein such as chicken and pork. If you want to lose the weight fast start running. I would suggest 2-3 times a week, and then maybe add in a little weight training. I am a big fan of kettlebells. I was turned onto them about 4-5 years ago and I love them. You could also try a fun cardio type class at a YMCA or gym once ot twice a week. You can email me if you would like some more info. Good luck!

Eat 5 small meals a day. Make sure they consist of fresh meat, fruits and Vegetables. Drink eight 12 oz bottles a day. Drink a sip of water between every drink. Have 2 starches and 1 dairy product a day. Exercise lightly at first. Get out of the house. Get a dog, and walk it , (good exercise). Don't sweat the small stuff. (Stress puts LBS on too!!) last but not least, Get full night rests so you have energy on the weekend to do something other than sit on the couch. Good luck!!!!

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I did this and lost 12 pounds and 19 inches in 9 days. I continued and lost 29 pounds in a month. I like the program since it works by giving your body nutrition through protein shakes with digestive enzymes and vitamins and then cleansing out the toxins. We get toxins in our bodies from pesticides, preservatives, water, pollution, medications, food additives etc…. These toxins enter our bodies and get stored in our fat cells. To shrink the fat, we need to get rid of the toxins through cleansing. The program also has a natural diet pill to help your metabolism and curb cravings. It works and it works fast. My skin has improved from the cleansing. It is pricey but worth it! I think cleansing is really important to health and weight loss. If you drink soda, STOP NOW. Eat 5 to 7 times a day in moderation. Stop eating or drinking 2 hours before bed. Eat like a king for breakfast, Eat like a prince for lunch, and Eat like a pauper for dinner, Eat healthy snacks between these major meals all day. Walking or a slow jog will speed up the old body.

im a firm believer in just having a balanced lifestyle..you can lose weight without being a total health nut (as far as diet is concerned), everything in moderation... as far as exercises go... cardio is a must for losing weight, but dont neglect weight lifting, start with a simple total body workout, .. a lot of people said running, but if you're just starting i recommend brisk walking/jogging/then back to walking until you get more comfortable just running, and biking, you can try jump rope too..
just remember there's no quick fix..dont believe anything you see in those stupid infomercials.. getting in shape and Staying in shape require good work ethic and commitment ...theres no real secret
