This area and Topix.com helped me to regain my "voice" after some very traumatic events in my life this past year. Events that brought back every foul thing EVER done to me. I have alwatys known that God has had my back, but I grew fearful of public outings... I have spent the past year "trying" to overcome public fear . THIS site has helped me to heal from "real life" and gave me a private way to help others as I am mandated to do, BUT with out having to worry about physical assault while conversing and building my courage... it also helped me to learn a better approach to reach people AND tolerate those that flame just for fun. It has also given me the courage to post Gods plans~ I have given all hurts over to God and am able to go back to all my favorite places with confidence again.... and witness to friends and strangers alike.

I think Yahoo plus the rest of life has changed the surface colour slightly. But the biggest changes I have had come from applying all I learn. Ther eare many intelligent and able people amoungst the bodies here. There is a lot that can be assimilated and combined to make a whole new being.

No, haven't changed much. I've merely reminded myself of my positions on certain issues and taken the time to reexamine why I adhere to those views in the first place. And hey, I still feel the same way about pretty much everything. I've learned that I despise the cult of Scientology and that we need more than ever to MAINTAIN a separation of church and state, but that hasn't altered my base stances.

Nah. It is interesting to see the different religious POVs.
How some people here can respect others differences. While the more zealous elements are determined to act like a Bulldozer, no matter whose reputation is wrecked in the process.
Didn't expect more than just that.

I hope Ive helped others by answering some questions (under a private screenname) because there are a lot of troubled individuals on here though.

I have become more conscious of how my words may effect others. I have learned quite a bit about the beliefs of others visiting here and have learned that if my opinion is not helpful or kind it is not necessary.

No one here knows who you are, so don't worry about what we think (just don't be rude).
Besides, everyone grows and changes. You are here to learn, after all, I assume. And, hopefully, to grow closer to God.

Yes I have. It has helped me to see which pieces of my dogma fit my belief, and which pieces do not. It has made me more tolerant of those of different beliefs (especially those who can laugh at themselves) and less tolerant of those who discriminate based on belief.
