it's just the fact that everyone hates Kobe for some odd ball reason. He's the superstar everyone decided to pick on. Some people hate him for the fact he kicked out Shaq (although later revealed that Jerry Buss did as stated by Kobe and SHAQ BELIEVED KOBE'S WORDS). I don't know why, maybe t has something to do with the rape case, but you shouldn't hate him for that, the man is a beast among beasts in the game of bball. Meanwhile, Lebron has the hype and despite all the times he hasn't been clutch, hsi so so defense, and bad free throw percentage, people love him. It's the same thing with A-Rod, great stats, people hate him.

I think the reason Kobe gets called a ballhog has to do
with the fact that he does not shoot high percentage
shots, Lebron scoring 29 of 30 is not as important as
him shooting better than .500, he also had 9 rebounds
and 7 assist, 2 steals and 2 turnovers, for the game
he was 18 of 35, and was like 11/14 toward the end.
The last game kobe played against the suns he was 11 for 31
thats like 34 percent, he had 1 assist, and 6 turnovers.
Ballhog does not mean you shoot alot, it means you
shoot bad shoots and pass up open players. LeBron
looks to pass first then score, Kobe looks to score
then pass. Only reason he took over the game was
detroit could not stop him. In game 6 he let Gibson
take the shots. If it was Kobe in game 6 he would not
let Gibson shoot those 3s which won the game,
he would shoot bad shots and the team lose.

Because People Are Jealous Of Kobe's Accomplishments...Or For Their Own Personal Grudges Where He Dropped 50+ On Them...People Hate On Kobe Because He Has Made A Name For Himself And Has Placed His Name In The Book Of All Time Greats...When LeBron Reaches This Level, He Will Be In The Same Situation As Kobe...A Lot Of People Say That LeBron Is Better Then Kobe, Simply Because They Don't Like Kobe, They Like LeBron, Or Both...Any One Who Isn't Biased Will Say That Kobe Is The Better Player And That Kobe Takes Over The Game, When Know One Else On The Team Is Making Their Jump Shots Or Cannot Be Productive...

I am not a big Kobe fan or Lebron fan, Kobe acts like a ball hog and lets face it he is. Even if he is not shooting well he will still take all the shots he can, all the bad ones too. Watching Lebron in game 6 against the pistons he didn't shoot well so he passed the ball to his teammates who were making their shots and he didn't force many shots. When it comes down to it Lebron is more of a team player than Kobe is, he shares the ball with his teammates and does more of the little things.

I'm a big Lebron fan and bigger Kobe fan. But I would disagree. If you're talking about the media, analyst, "experts", then they would call Kobe a ball-hog only if he lost the game. If he won the game, he'd get almost as much praise as Lebron, because it would be the politically correct thing to say. But your point is well taken, a lot of people will take the first opportunity to attack Kobe.
If you're talking about the Kobe-Hater fans, well then, the answer is obvious.

Here's the deal. LeBron CLEARLY has never been a selfish player on the floor. For the first two rounds ESPN, TNT (yeah, the Chuckster) KILLED LeBron for passing to open teammates. Kobe has a selfish reputation (this is within the league, too)
It's reputation. LBJ passes WAY more than Kobe. Almost passes too much.
BUT I disagree. Maybe people on yahoo would hate it if Kobe did what LBJ did the other night. Everyone else in the would would show respect.

You got that point, sir.
The fact is almost everyone hates Kobe.
And since almost everyone hates Kobe, all are watching how Kobe plays.
And since they are watching how Kobe plays, they criticize him for being a ballhog and tells him that he can pass more and shoot less.
And since they criticize him, there goes the bandwagon Kobe haters, everytime Kobe has a bad game, they would say Kobe didn't pass the ball or Kobe didn't play team ball.
Look at this:
Why is it that when Kobe shoots more and pass less and lose everyone criticizes him?
Why is it that when Kobe shoots less and pass more and lose everyone criticizes him?
The reason?
It is because they have been seeing the dot on the white paper rather than focusing on the beauty of the white paper.
They hate Kobe because he is definitely the most complete player in the league, and I'm not saying this because I'm a Kobe fan, I'm saying this because it is true.
Everyone hated Kobe because they believe that Kobe is a villain and Shaq and Co. are the superheroes.
You got me?

Thats a good point. First of all the sports media tries to prolong Kobe's bad image to add drama to the NBA. Second, Lebron didn't take all of the shots (the rest of his team was 0 for 10). Plus everbody loves Lebron.

Simply because the media views Kobe as a ball hog in general, while they portray James as the prodigy, the savior of basketball. Its like if Albert Pujols hit 3 HRs in a game, everyone would celebrate, but if Barry Bonds hit 3 HRs in a game, people would just say, "Oh hes still probably injecting himself with every element on the periodic table (which he is)."

My take on this is simple timing. Kobe has been doing the whole carry your team on your shoulders when they need it for a while. Whereas people have been calling for Lebron to show that he can do that. This was a huge step for a 22 year old kid who is trying to make his first NBA final. People wanted him to do it to show that he's capable of being a great player. The difference between the two is that we know lebron also shares the ball. We KNOW, Kobe doesn't.
