That happened to me too. Now I take pills, but I never lost all the weight. You have to do cardio and use stretch mark cream. That will help a little.

Go find another Dr, get off the pills, & make sure that there isn't any physical reason why you are gaining weight like crazy.
I have struggled with my weight all my life, & have tried EVERYTHING. I have lost a ton of weight, & gained it all back, & gained more, & then lost it all again I don't know how many times I rode the dieting roller coaster.
I am now 56 yrs old, & I have said ENOUGH!
I have now lost 45 lbs in the last 3months. My wife has lost 26.
We are on Weight Watchers, & it is working the best for us out of all of the other things we have tried.
I don't know if it's the solution to your problem.
If the only problem that you are having with your weight is your choices with diet, & exercise, then give weight watchers an honest try.
Take back your life!

it's unusual to gain that much just from the depo, though some do gain a bit or have other side effects just like any hormone(and just like pregnancy for that matter). You are going to need to have a complete checkup- legit drs do not give"diet pills" so you need to go to a real doctor. You need a cmplete physical to determine what's going on in your body Then if all checks out-ask to see a nutritionist and join a club or a medically supervised weight loss program-insurance sometimes pays for that. 138 is pretty thin at 5'7"so a little gain wouldn't be such a big deal-195 now is that it?- it looks like you still have a minor to moderate weight problem You need to consider what's going on in your head as well-stress or life changes? Alcohol drinking? what has changes in your life in your habits -eating/activity etc. Best of luck to you

I have friends that have complained on a similar issue. There's was with a BC pill. As soon as they went on it they gained some weight, managed to get it under control, but then gained it all back as soon as they went off. I would suggest talking to a Dr about the weight gain in regards to the shot, and then if you knees can handle it begin running lightly then gradually increase your running until you can handle 3-4 miles every other day. Throw in some light weight training such as kettlebells or some other high intensity training such as cardio kickboxing, etc. Hope this helps.

You've come to the right place and it won't cost you $9.95 for a weight-lodd video. All you need is my tape. It is free. It is just a 6 inch pieceof duct tape and you put it across your mouth for a month. Your fat belly will be gone and it hasn't cost you a dime. Or, if you have lots of money buy a return trip to Biafra and live among the people. Have you ever seen anyone there who isn't skinny?

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

My wife took depo too. She also gained a significant amount of weight in the process of reducing the severity of her periods. She says it took a good year for her body to normalize afterwards.
Any kind of birth control involves risks. Maybe you're in the process of normalization yet. But that doesn't mean you can't take a few steps for your own emotional benefit if nothing else. Getting things together like time for walking if not time at the gym that you call your meditation time or whatever will be good for you to at least resolve yourself to thinking that you're moving forward in that way.
My suggestion is to stay away from diet pills - they stress your heart and don't resolve our body's needs to stay active in addition to the emotional responses our minds have to being out and doing. Don't be desperate, try not to take drastic measures that could damage your young body. Continuing stress doesn't allow your body to make the best of your efforts so that points to an activity that can, first and foremost, allow you to relax.
Good luck, you'll be fine

Ohh... That is really hard... But go on a no grain diet. Or you can go to Wall-mart or any other places that might have Trim Spa. IT REALLY WORKS! My cousin is a bit big in the waist so she took the pills because Anna Nicole died and she was her idol, so she took them and she lost over 15 pound on the next two months! Same goes with the no grain... But carb counting doesn't really work...
