After Jesus resurrected He went to Heaven where He sits at the right hand of God the Father. What is He doing? Waiting on God to say, " Go get my children." The eastern skies will part and every eye shall see Him. Scripture says that many will groan, cry out because they will know then that everything Christian's have been saying for generations is true. But for them, it will be toooooo late!

The only time the Bible states that Jesus actually died was when he was crucified on the cross. Other than that, he ascended into heaven 40 days after his resurrection. Hope this helps!

He lives yet and forever more.

From the Bible, as summarized in the Nicene Creed:
And the third day He rose again according to the Scriptures and ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father. And He will come again with glory to judge both the living and the dead, whose kingdom will have no end.

It is appointed unto man once to die, and after this the judgement.
He died a physical death and resurrected from the tomb.
He ascended straight into heaven with many witnesses.

I have died to the reality of my former sinful nature and have been resurrected through the waters of baptism into a new life. God gave me the gift of salvation by His grace through my faith in Him. The Holy Spirit of God lives in me.
How about you?

Jesus died the death of sinful man, being himself perfectly without sin. He was the perfect sacrifice pleasing to God. He has been judged worthy to sit at the right hand of God. Because of his sacrifice I have been allowed to suffer a spiritual death. Now all that remains is the physical. The Holy Spirit bears witness of my rebirth.

According to Acts chapter 1, Jesus ascended to heaven, and will return in the same way. Now if we could just figure out which way was up from Jerusalem when this happened, we could train the Hubble Telescope in that direction and keep a look-out for his return!

Jesus died...I think people think to literally about the resurrected part. I look at it like his spiritual form manifested his human form to deliver his message. Then he went to heaven.
