It's rare that an abortion will lead to infertility.

And you know, not everyone wants children. So having your "only chance" removed is not a bad thing for some people.

I knew someone who had 2 abortions within 2 years and as a result, had scar tissue buildup to the point that she has miscarried 3 times, now at a time that she wants to have a baby. She is very sad about it. I don't think it causes infertility but using it as a form of birth control could reak havoc on your body.

nope very rare, i had an abortion 3-4 weeks ago im perfectly fine its same as giving birth but to something really small that u dont notice, but they give you tablets to pass it through that all and my mum had 3 abortions because she already has 3 kids and cnt afford to look after anymore. but no its very very rare to become infertile. but it may different in countries, im from england and its a simple easy process, but we are giving 3 lots of different tablets to have a day for about a week to stop infection.

My friend had an abortion at 16 years old now that she is 20 and married she wants to start her family. They tried and tried but nothing. She went to the doctors and she can not get pregnant because of something that the abortion did to her insides . Its really sad.

Only if , after the abortion, you got an infection and didn't treat it, or if the doctor screwed up. this is why we need to keep abortion safe and legal in the U.S. The chances of complications are very very slim if you go to a reputable doctor or clinic.

BTW, sometimes abortions are a good idea.
