How many children do you want to have, and what made you decide on that number?

I want to have three, I would like two boys and girl

I want four. I grew up in a two child family and always wished I would have had one more sibling. And with three you get "middle child syndrome" so I thought 4 would be a good number. We will see though when I actually start having children, my hubby and I are TTC.

I want to have an even number. I was an only child until I was seven, and then by the time I was nine, I was 1 of 3, so it's always been an odd number in my family. Also, each of my mom and dad's brother's and sisters have 3 kids.
Several of my friends families had 2 kids, and my boyfriends family had 4 kids, and I thought the dynamic that played out with the even number was just... different. Maybe not better, but I liked it.
So yeah, an even number, be that 2 or 4 or 6. My boyfriend says any more than 4 is just too many. We've already got one, and I'm ready for #2, but he's not, so we're waiting...very impatiently, on my part. lol.

I used to think I only wanted one, so I could spoil the heck out of him, but now that I have my 2 1/2 year old son I desperately want another one ASAP. Now I would like to have as many children as I can financially support. I'd have 10 if I could afford it ;) LOL

I want 5. My reason? I think it is honestly because of a silly game we played as kids that determines how many kids you will have and what sex. I think that stuck in my head and I have had my heart set on 5. The sad truth is I haven't been able to have but one child and the ole biological clock is screaming.

I want two children! I do now know what i want but i do know that i want at least one of them to be a girl! I dont know y i decided that but it is just something that i want

I wanted to have 1 after graduating college, getting my life all nice and set, and here I am with 3 of them at the age of 28...wouldn't trade them for anything:)

2 or 3. I came from a family with 3, my fiance has one sibling, i guess well decide after our second whether to have another

Zero. Don't get me wrong, I'm not heartless. Children are a big responsibility and if I don't think I could give a child the best life possible, then I shouldn't have one.

3...no reason...just think 2 is not enough and 4 is too much...2 boys and 1 girl!
