What are the benifits and cons of intaking caffeine?

The benefits of caffeine are that you have increased energy, feel more awake and alert, and there are studies out there that say there are health benefits as well. If you like green tea, they claim that there are beneficial antioxidants there. Also, it can work as a diuretic, which can help you lose water weight and puffiness.
The cons, well.... you can become jittery, find it hard to sleep at night and have an increased heart rate (if you have too much) and become "caffeine dependant" which just means that you will actually have a sort of "withdrawal" when you don't have enough of it. This can cause headaches. There were studies that suggested that caffeine can actually work against your hydration (because of the diuretic properties) but I believe they've given up on trying to prove that.

Coffee has been shown to improve brain function, its a good energy booster, it doesn't seem to have any serious negative side effects. I even heard a report on one study that showed it did not even raise blood pressure. There are other sources of caffein but coffee's my favorite source.

I love your espresso-much less poem , I'm now not a lot of a espresso drinker myself, I use drink it at all times however now I'm simply as completely happy with a juice or ice tea within the morning. quickly it is going to be summer season and time to make solar tea !!!!! well stuff

Benefits : concentration, rapidity of thinking, taste
Cons : shaking, peeing more often, being dependant to coffee
