Nothing could cause me to lose my faith in God. I know he is real and I know his love. Why would I ever want to give that up.

God cannot intervene on free will. What humans do against the innocent or meek of the world is of their own choice and desire. There will be consequences for those choices against the innocent and justice will be served. It is not God's fault that mankind chooses evil, and some of that evil is indeed perpetrated upon the innocent and undeserving, which makes it most evil. God knows of the unfairness and helplessness of these innocents. And for those that suffer the most in innocence, the most blessed will be the reward for enduring being afflicted with much pain. The meek shall inherit the Earth. The last shall be first. There is a special paradise for the little ones that have been abused and murdered. There is a special hell for those whom offend the innocent. Pray to Heavenly Father about your wavering faith and ask Him for Help in this matter. Good Luck and God Bless

Nothing... I have looked at the atheistic arguments and see less and less evidence in them the more I look at them. Even Professor Antony Flew the former atheist (30+ years of speaking as an atheist) that had debated men such as C.S. Lewis recently said that the latest biological research "has shown, by the almost unbelievable complexity of the arrangements which are needed to produce (life), that intelligence must have been involved."
C.S. Lewis was an atheist, Alister McGrath was an atheist, Lee Stroebel was an atheist... they all looked at the evidence and became Christians. You can even listen to Alister McGrath debate Richard Dawkins here. http://www.rzim.org/resources/
Hey why don't you look at the evidence. Lee Streobel and C.S. Lewis both have written several books on Christianity and McGrath wrote one called the Dawkins Delusion that I have heard is OK.
"There is no incompatibility between science and religion... Science shows that God exists." - Prof. D. Barton, Nobel Prize Chemistry

I would never loose my faith in god. However I think someone could loose their faith if something bad occurs in their life and
they think god didn't prevent it or even worse made it happen.Or another reason would be if they believe god exist then this must mean that there will be punishment for whatever actions they take in this life. Also where good exist evil also exist so if they accept good then they must except satan some people don't like to realize there is bad spiratual or physical.Another reason would be if there is no god they could live however they want don't have to take responsibility for their actions there are just so many reasons.

Being raised by Jehovah's Witness parents who were abusive and hypocritical did it for me. I was angry at God for years and shyed away from Him and all religions. I was cynical and thought all Christians were just blind and weak. But a sense of contentment and peace came over me when I realized that God loves all his children just like I love my own children and that it's okay to make mistakes in life. The Witnesses practice shunning which really took a toll on me psychologically b/c most of my family chose not to speak to me after I left their religion. It's interesting though b/c looking back, I feel that God, through prayer and his Spirit guiding me, gave me the strength to leave that religion b/c the teachings didn't sit well with me. I wish I didn't lose those years that I spent faithless, hopeless, and angry...but I have come to appreciate now more than ever God's love.

If my wife's six miscarriages, a bankruptcy, living in filth with rats, 2 periods of unemployment that lasted more than a year each, constant breakdowns of my vehicles and everything I own, the deaths of 7 family members within 3 years, physical pain and suffering, my own falling into sin and the rape of my daughter by my own brother won't do it, nothing will.
You see, I have decided; the die is cast; the mold is set; the ship has left port - I have no other hope but Christ. My choice is made, come hell or high water.

When I look at lives of atheists -- there is hardly any beauty in them. There is hardly any joy.
I believe that if a person truly has the truth, their life should reflect it.
However, I do not see more joy in the lives of atheists. Instead, I see significantly less.
Additionally, it is chemically impossible to produce life. (You can't get proteins unless you first have DNA. DNA, of course, is loaded with intelligence).
It also is genetically impossible for an animal to evolve -- and the fossil record confirms this.
So... it would take a lot for me to become an atheist. These are just a few of the issues. Basically, they would need to bring me a giant sack of truth.
So far, all I seem to be getting is a sack filled with smoke and mirrors.
No disrespect is meant by this answer -- it's simply what I would need to become an athiest. If you can bring me a giant sack of truth, I will convert.

people are dieing everyday and our lives are all about faith, how in these troubled times could one lose faith in God?
He is all.
nothing can separate us from the Love of God.
there is no such thing as hypothetically when it comes to God and His son Christ Jesus, and Christ is the author and finisher of our faith.
Peace

Doubt! one of satans best tools. The Bible also tells us that faith without works is dead, James 2:26 so if we are not working out Gods will our faith is powerless.
