I like a guy a lot. Every night he calls me and we stay on the phone for hours. Not too long ago we had our senior prom and he asked me to dance with him and I did. To tell the truth, I felt like we were the only 2 people there. Today in school he was holding me and biting on my arm and ear. My friends told me that he wanted to ask me to be his date 4 the prom but he was shy. I feel like Fantasia is singing her song "When I see you" to me because the things she mention in the song I constantly do. I tingle inside when I hear his voice. When I dream about him, I don't feel like getting up. It seems like every time I think about him, I get a phone call and its him. Is it true that if you're thinking someone they are usually thinking about you 2 ? My mom always tells me to follow my heart but I don't know what to do. We graduate on the 27, What should I do ? If you have time, listen to Fantasia song then give me advice so you can get a better picture of what's going on.

It could be love, but it could be lust. You might want to think about what your future holds before you go letting love lead you around by the nose. Just remember once you make the choice ///whatever it is /// your changing the entire coarse of your life and where it might go instead of where it should have gone. I've been in love many times in this lifetime and it is a wonderful thing, but ultimately the thrill will fade and you'll either find yourself miserable or alone in a crowd because you weren't true to yourself. Time will tell and tomorrow will come, but just think long and hard and don't let the excitement of graduation get you into more than you bargained for. Your soo young and so is he don't you want to experience life not being someones daughter, girlfriend, wife? god forbid mother??? Be safe and be happy ...

i don't have to listen to the song to know my answer to this...how about you ask him to the prom? what's the worst that can happen..he says no? have you ever heard the saying..."it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all"? well it is true! i fell in love with my best friend a couple of years ago. i told him the way i felt...he didn't feel the same way. we continues to be friends, and our relationship was even closer for the simple reason that we knew then that there was nothing we could ever tackle that would be harder than that had been. he has been gone from this earth for 2 years now. there is not a day goes by that i don't think about him and miss him...and i will never regret making that leap into closed arms. we both learned more about ourselves, what we were looking for, and our friendship...so you see, in the end nobody lost ...and there was no confusion about anything...

Your mom is right - you should follow your heart. GO with the flow at this point, and things will progress as they will.
Just make sure you listen to your brain once in a while - it can see things that your heart is blind to... but at this point, it sounds like there is very little to worry about (unless he accidently draws blood one of these days while biting you) ;);)
