Take him to the vet ASAP if you want to save him. There can be many causes to this and this could be the only possible way to save him. It's the hard truth but just think you could still have him for more years to come IF you take him/her in. It could be a hurt jaw, overgrown teeth, a bacterial infection, etc. The 3 thing I listed are curable with stuff prescribed by a vet.

My rabbit lost her appetite several times during her life, but it was usually for no more than 2 days. It can be difficult to catch a rabbit's illness during the early stages since rabbits hide symptoms of illness.Last month I noticed she was eating very little food for about a week. I knew she was sick but she died before I could bring her to the vet. She was 7 and a half years old, so I don't think the vet would have been able to do anything for her. Since your rabbit is still young I don't think he is seriously ill but you should bring him to a vet if he's still not eating anything by tomorrow.

I agree with the others that you should definitely get him to the vet ASAP. If you do not already have a regular vet that sees your rabbit, call around and find one that is very familiar. You may want to check with the Houserabbit Society for a vet recommendation in your state: http://www.rabbit.org/vets/index.html
Rabbits not eating/drinking can be signs of a serious problem, which can result in a quick death. A number of years ago, my 8 year old rabbit stopped eating & drinking and was acting very lethargic. My regular vet was closed for the weekend and by the time that I located one that would see him on an emergency basis, it was too late. We did not do an autopsy to find out what the problem was.
My third rabbit will sometimes get gassy from certain foods and until we learned what they were, she would sometimes stop eating until it passed (@ 24 hours). However, she did keep drinking and would respind to us, although not with her usual energy. We have learned which foods she must avoid.
The bottom line is that your rabbit is still very young. They often live 8+ years. You should not chance that your rabbit is sick and suffering. Take him to the vet to find out what the problem is.

That could be any of a number of things. If he doesn't eat for more than a day (two days in a row) then I'd consider taking it to the vet. Often your rabbit may be drinking, it just may appear that the rabbit hasn't drank.

There can be several reasons/for causes, but as I tell others if you think he is sick take him to a vet immediately. Not drinking/eating can be signs and symptoms of something far worse.....Im not sure what you keep him in so I cant dictate if its du to environmental causes...if he gets dehydrated it can lead to kidney/liver failure... I would monitor him overnight and if he is still the same take him to see the vet... This being said diagnosing a ill pet onlin with no photos or pt history is like trying to do surgery blind, it just cant happen...
Have you checked to see if its having problems breathing?fever? anything else unusual about its behavior?? it could just want to lounge or it may have nibbled a bit earlier and not up to eating, have you fed it to much leafy greens/fruits? what color are the feces??Last BM?? My advice is if you cant gt him to the vet tonight, a small syringe with pedialyte, give him about 10 CCs, then in an hour another 10 CCs to keep it hydrated fluids are the main key

U need to get him to the vet asap. In the meantime if he is not drinking you will probably have to give him water through a syringe, i had to do that when my guinea pig was sick. See if he will eat some carrot maybe. Sounds like something you used in his cage is causing him to be sick. I hope he gets better :)

Give the vet a call and ask someone there for their advice. they will tell you what you can do at home or if they think it needs medical attention they may ask for the rabbit to be bought in.

get your bunny to the vet ASAP!! as a rabbit breeder, i know that rabbits clean themselves often like cats, so they also end up with hairballs just like cats, if he does have a hairball it is blocking his digestive system and thats why he is not eating, he is probably not able to poop either, if left untreated this condition is fatal he will literally starve to death, so in the best interest of your bunny get him seen!!

Get the bun to the vet immediately! He could have a hairball. Bunnies cannot vomit, and if the hairball is lodged in the digestive track the vet can help.

When any animal does not eat or drink it is serious he needs a vet, small animals like these hide their illness to guard themselves from predators in the wild, a natural instinct. make an appt. with a vet who specializes in small animals..Good Luck
