Samuel Adams is, bar none, the best U.S. macro brewery. Their brews are balanced and enjoyable, not too flashy, and very respectable.

I enjoy the foreign and micro beers the most, with particular attention to Imperial IPAs and Stouts (micro) and Belgian Strongs and Abbeys (imported). Nonetheless, if I had to choose the best U.S. beer not counting regional micro-brews, I'd choose Sam's. Good stuff by anyone's standards.

The quality and quantity of the ingerdients that go into the beer make it good. There are no fillers like rice or corn in Sam Adams. They use a darker Caramel malt for flavor and more hops for aroma and bitterness.

For another great beer that's been around since before the depression try Yeungling from PA.

Utopias ... a scouse borrow at $one hundred twenty a bottle. it incredibly is not a comedian tale Sam Adams definitely makes a $one hundred twenty/btl beer. properly, in case you could call it beer ... it is presented in a bottle formed like a copper beer kettle, and has 25% abv, and tastes greater like a cognac than beer incredibly. On a greater effective notice, maximum bars/eating places won't have each and every selection. try the lager first, and then pass from the standard to the greater unique. maximum different S. A. products you will locate would be a splash sweater or heavier or darker or fruitier yet are oftentimes alterations on a topic. it is unlike you having to make your strategies up on between a Harp and a Guinness (one is a mild lager and the different is black stout)

It's because they use so much hops in their recipe. If you like the flavor of Sam Adams, try an India Pale Ale (IPA). IPA beers have more hops used in their brewing than any other type. Many different companies make IPA's, but try a Brooklyn Brewery East India Pale Ale if you can find it.

Sam Adams beer is so good becuase of the amount of fresh hops they use per serving. Rather than using a high amount of filler product, Sam Adam's uses better ingredients, thus the reason for its 11.99 per 12 pack price to Bud's 7.99.
