What is the Spanish word for "to drive?" An audio course I am taking said to say something like "manejar."

I looked up manajar, monejar, monajar, manejar, and monejar; One source claimed manejar meant "to handle." I found online that "conducir" meant "to drive." What is correct? Is there another word that sounds like manejar that means "to drive?"

I have one more question. When asking questions, is it fine to put the pronoun after the verb and before it, or strictly before the verb. (Example: Tu' hablas Espanol? Is this the only correct way to ask or can I say "Hablas tu' Espanol?")

to drive: manejar, conducir. Both are correct.

Manejar: to drive, also means to handle.
Yo no sé manejar - Yo no sé conducir(i don't know how to drive).

Usually in Spanish there is no need for the pronoun every time you say something. For example, you could say:
¿Hablas español? it already implies Tú (you)

You can also say:
Tú hablas español?
Hablas tú español? less used, but it's correct

(2) In Spanish you say "¿hablas español?", you dont need to use the pronoun, it wont sound right to you because in English we say "do you speak Spanish?", but it's the way in Spanish.

BTW, in Spanish, you dont use capital letters for the name of languages, month of the year, or, day of the week, unless those appear at the beginning of a sentence.

You can use either "manejar" or "conducir".

Both ways are fine: "Tú hablas español?" or "Hablas tú español".

See, in Spanish you can identify the person by the end of the verb. As a matter of fact, you don't need to use the pronoun almost 100% of the times. The opposite happens in English because you can only notice the 3rd person of singular (he, she, it) by their end "-s" (lives) or "es"(does).

I think you would need to say "manejar el coche" or "manejar el coche." Conducir would probably be the correct verb. I said something to a Mexican friend about how "me gusta manejar", meaning I like to drive, and he just gave me a blank look.

I think is actually more correct to put the pronoun after the verb when asking a question.

Manejar and Conducir are synonims, the reason you got to hadle is because you can use that word in other terms to. Also, it doesn't matter if you put the pronoun after the verb to make questions in Spanish.

depending of where one is from , you will have different answers, Manejar does mean to handle as well as to drive, but it is most commonly used to say to drive something not necessarily an automobile. or conducir it most appropriate. or an elegant way of saying to drive in Spanish.

You need to be flexible here... different countries use different words. All of the following words are perfectly correct to translate 'to drive':

Manejar
Conducir
Guiar
Choferear

All of them are correct within the country that uses them. OK?

As to the second question, both forms are correct. You may even add one more by eliminating altogether the word 'tu', as follows: ¿Hablas español?

Most people grow up with the bible and think teaching it to children is saving them. I have read the bible and its just something I can't believe. I study Buddhism because I feel its better for my soul. I don't think people should push their beliefs on young child because its kinda brainwashing. No, I don't believe sewer faeries. The bible attacks people fears of the unknown, thats why its been around for so long. The messages are mixed but if someone can find soul lessons in it then more power to them.
