I believe that everyone is entitled to have religious beliefs. But I don't like people coming to my door interrupting whatever I may be doing and try to force their religion on me. I'm not saying I'm a non believer but there are so many different religions in this world who's to say the one they believe in is right. None of us lived back then and I don't think its right to force what I believe in on other people. Although if the subject is brought up by a person wanting to attend a church then I believe its fair game. I don't mind donating items to religious organizations like clothing and food. But I agree that some people need to keep their beliefs to themselves. Or tell people that wants to hear it. By the way I come from a family that has a religious background many attended church and also several were preachers.

All the wars that Americans (a nation that has had a high percentage of Christian) have fought in were non-religion wars. Sadly cost of lives in those wars totaled over 75 million people! I doubt all the religious wars together touch that total.
Perhaps you would like to talk about all the lives that have been lost to atheistic governments.
Aren't you seeking to spread your personal beliefs on others, by posting this.
Interesting that you decided employ an ad hominian attack (grrrr those mindless sheep...) instead of using logic.

If you were drowning I would throw you a life preserver if I had one.
It's the same with Christianity. We believe if you are not a Christian you will not go to heaven when you die. Simple as that. If we don't tell you that Jesus died for your sins, then rose on the third day to escape death/sin. Then you will never know. We believe Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except through me"
We are also commanded to preach the gospel to the ends of the earth.
We do it because we care about you and we are commanded to do so.

People follow trends of all sorts from hollywood telling you how to dress and act to the food and drug administration pushing fast food that causes heart disease, cholestrol, etc. to the pharmaceutical companies telling you that they have cure for every sypmtom you have. Religion along with everything else is freedom of expression to share what you feel is right or good to someone and they have the free will to accept it or deny it.

How is a person sharing their faith hurting anyone? Jesus doesn't want anyone to miss out on eternal life.
No a cult is a group of people following a man and not the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word.

No, God wants us to go to all the world and tell of his saving grace. If something really good and exciting happened to you, wouldn't you want to run and tell everyone? Well, that is how it is with us.
Christianity is not a cult. It is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

As Christians, we are called to spread our faith throughout the world so that others may also be saved and receive eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Its more like a public service (although radicals take this way to far. Peace is also preached!!!!)

If you wish to walk away I promise I will not follow you. My mindlessness compells me to stay with the good Shepherd. He keeps me safe from the wolf who wants to eat me, digest me, and leave me in a stinking heap upon the ground. As long as I am with the Shepherd I know I can continue to enjoy the green pasture to which he has led me. You are welcome to stay as long as you wish to find out more about him.

Nope. Whether you know it or not, without the saving grace of Christ Jesus, you are doomed. Dead. Not only that, but after you die you get to go and burn forever in hell.
On the other hand, with Jesus, after you die you get eternal life free from every kind of hurt and pain, streets paved with gold, mansions...etc. But most of all we get to be forever in the arms of our heavenly father and he will wipe every tear from our eyes, and we will spend forever worshiping him.
That is why as a Christians, we must make sure everybody knows.

People do not fight about religion. There are no ongoing scholarly debate over which religion is correct. The truth is that people use religion as a tool to fight for territory. Just as they use science to fight for territory.
