To start anything you have to start somewhere. It was the Middle East for God. It probably could have been anywhere in the world. It is not the Middle Easterners to always receive revelation; it is now the believer in Jesus Christ as the Son of God that now receive revelation and indirectly rule according to His law.

Well it depends what you mean by Abrahamic, but if Christianity's prophetic figures are included, then the answer is YES.

The New Testament's narrative ends in Rome, when St. Paul arrives there in Acts. St. Peter would soon end up there himself, according to the letters of St. Clement.
