Being closed minded is a possible progression and end stage of one who is narrow-minded.

I believe that being focused and determined in a belief or goal is a healthier outlook...This does not mean being wishy washy...as a double-minded person is unstable in all of his ways. Nor does it mean closed to any possible correction,as the bible also states that a person that will not receive correction is "stupid". (brutish means stupid)

Neither. Having your own beliefs and standing up for them is not a bad thing. Expecting everyone else to live the same as you, is wrong.

Calling someone narrow minded or closed minded is subjective to the person making the judgement. So my answer is, neither is worse, quit judging them and let them be.

Well, I would think that a narrow passageway could allow the entrance of some free thought while a closed one could not. On the other hand, if a door is closed it can be opened with the right key.

Narrow minded. . . you can have a limited worldview, but you should at least be open to some suggestion and not be completely pig-headed.
