Is your dog eating? Is your dog drinking water? Is your dogs nose wet? If yes to all these than you do not have anything to worry about. I have had dog that this has happened to. Your dog could have eaten a bone and it is causing him to bleed because bone pieces are raking out his bowel. Or like people he could have slight hemmorids. You say he is walking and everything fine so I would not worry. If he stops eating and drinking and his nose gets dry and lays around then call a vet. Some vets will let you get on a payment plan.

Well first off he really needs a vet but in the mean time try to keep an eye out for him and be sure he is pooping blood might just be a loose stool from some food he ate. If there is indeed blood try feeding him only boiled rice with nothing added to it that could help his stomach and help harden the stool. A small dog with a loose bloody stool is always in trouble of dehydration and needs a doc visit. A larger dog, needs a vet but you might try the rice and see if it calms him and the bleeding stops. Some dogs especially males get an irritable bowel that causes this, if it does not get better in a couple days either surrender him to a rescue like I work with who will take him to a vet or might work with you on paying them for treatment.

Unfortunately not much you can do without the dog seeing a vet. It could be worms that are causing the bloody stools which isn't expensive to treat. If you can feed the dog only cooked white rice and cooked, lean ground beef for a day or two and see if that improves it's stools. In any event, call around to see what a vet would cost or check with a local animal shelter, some offer low cost clinics that may be able to help. Lots of luck

This may be a problem in the bowel. Keep an eye on him for any attitude changes and if you call your vet then the vet tech's or the vet him or herself can tell you what to do in the meantime. This is not an immediate danger so don't worry about it.

Sounds like Parvo Virus.

No, this is not Parvo Virus. Parvo Virus first attacks the muscles mainly and it causes the dog to not be able to walk and has weakening in the bones.

He should really be seen by the vet. Call the local vet and be honest. Tell them you need someone to look at your dog but don't have any money right now. You may be able to set up some kind of payment plan. Good Luck!!!

He has what you call tick fever. If his legs are lame, then he has definitely tick bite fever.

If he pulls through it will be a miracle for they seldom do.

Is his eyes blood shot?
Nose dry?

Lightly fry (not actually done) some Cows liver and cut in strips and give it to him. By the grace of God he will eat it and if this has been treated in time, he will recover. The liver is full of iron and that will replace the iron in the blood which the tick has sucked out. Your dog actually needs a blood transfusion.

I'm not sure of what you can do outside of taking him to the vet. Has he had anyone feed him bones. I know some people do that and the bones splinter inside the dog and cut them up coming out. If he acts like its hurting when he poops it could be something like that. I'm sorry your mom won't take him to the vet. Good luck.

He needs to go to the vet! Maybe the vet will allow you to make payments on the bill. Call in the morning and find out. If he's pooping blood, he could have many health problems that could be deadly. Please take him. If not relinquish him to the Humane Society so he can get the care he needs.

It could be a number of things, but the first one people always think about is that maybe he ate bones and they are stuck somewhere in there. Another one could be that he has ring
worms. Have you given him shots and those pills for deworming cost about .20 each. Hope you dog gets better.
Oh! I just remembered make the dog chicken soup and take
out any bones let it cool and let him have this liquid. It will do him lots of good.

Treat the diarrhea
Do not give normal food - fast for 24 hours.
Watch stools for consistency and blood
Make sure dog drinks

If dog dehydrates, acts oozy, stops drinking, or bleeding worsens get to Vet.
