Yes, if you've got a Green Card you can enlist. See any military recruiter for all the information you need to make your decision.

As long as your legal, and you can speak decent english, they will accept you. In fact let me give you some Air Force facts...
Basic Training-Lasts 6 weeks.
Payment while in Basic Training-$1,203.90 a MONTH!
You will need to take a civil service test to get into the AF to see what your best in.
When you apply you will sign a contract saying that you will work for a minimum of 4 years. You can also choose a selection of bases you want to go to for the first 2 years. I would recommend a base in California if you want to stay close to home for a while, such as Travis, Vandenberg, LA, Beale. Whereever you're stationed, you will have an on-base house. As for the benefits, when you go shopping at the on-base commisary (store/mall) you can buy stuff, and not have to pay taxes on it! But only at places ON BASE. When you get out, you will have what is called a G.I.Bill. This bill can help you pay for college, as well as help you to buy a house! As for Basic Training, not that bad.

Best of luck getting into the Air Force, you will start a journey into a good, and better life for yourself.

Yes you would be eligible to join, granted you meet all the other enlistment criteria. I would strongly urge you to check out the Navy's hospital corpsman program though. The top 3 DoD hospitals are Naval Hospitals (Bethesda Naval Hospital, Balboa Naval Hospital and Norfolk Naval Hospital). Plus the Navy will guarantee your job in writing BEFORE you sign ANY CONTRACTS. Right now the HM field is completely full for this fiscal year so you would probably be in the delayed entry program until at least 2008! Start checking it out for yourself, talk to some recruiters and check out everything they tell you before you make your commitment. Do it now though because I can tell you the open jobs for 2008 will fill up fast for females going to the medical field! Its the most highly sought after job for females in the Navy.

as long as you are Green card holder, you are fine.

you can utilize the GI Bill to pay for college. you cannot, however, be anurse until you become a Ctizen, as only Officers are Nurses and they must be Citizens.

the good news is, many of the fees and time limits are waived for personnel serving in the Armed Forces.

not only can you join (see an Army recruiter), but it will also be a quicker step towards full citizenship if you desire that.
