Just an informal poll. I was wondering if most atheists are also, like me, non-believers in other aspects, as well.
Do any of you believe in:
Astrology
UFO's (alien in nature)
Reflexology
Bigfoot
Loch Ness Monster
9/11 conspiracy
JFK Conspiracy
or any other paranormal phenomenon or conspiracy theory.
I think I know the answers, but just curious, Thanks!

Nice, not an answer, just an insult.
I'm glad you're such a good christian.
btw- I don't remember that atheist crusade, ar the atheist inquisition, or the atheist jihad, or the atheist heirarchy aiding and abetting the molestation of young boys by thousands of their preists.
Oh, yeah and I do remember Hitler as being a devout christian.
So, you have any other intelligent remarks? Oh, wait, that's right, there is a demonstrable inverse relationship between religious belief and intelligence.
So, I guess it would have to be just a typical christian remark.

Astrology is impossible. Any 'influence' that stars could have on a single person from billions of light years away would be so small it wouldn't even register.
I'm sure there are countless forms of life out there in the nearly infinite expanse of space. Only a very stupid alien would waste it's time visiting this planet.
Reflexology is bunk.
Bigfoot and Nessie - I could drain Loch Ness, dredge the mud that was left over and still not disprove Nessie, same with Bigfoot. But that doesn't matter, the burden of proof is on the people who claim they are real.
As an eyewitness to the events of 9/11, I can only say the following:
1) Planes hit those buildings.
2) The buildings came down.
3) Lots of people died.
I don't know who was ultimately responsible for the act, but I do know that a lot of poorly educated morons make up things, pass them around and they become urban legends.
JFK - I'll quote the band Clutch 'Couldn't give a damn about JFK...everything's conspiracy"
All the rest of that junk, like ghosts (not real), John Edward (Biggest Douche in the Universe), Jesusismylight (that asshead at the top of this page) and Dick Cheney's soul (not real) are a bunch of nonsense.

Astrology - bunk
UFOs - if aliens exist, they aren't visiting earth
Reflexology - bunk
Bigfoot - bunk
Loch Ness Monster - bunk
9/11 conspiracy - there are facts being intentionally concealed, although whether this constitutes a "conspiracy" is a matter for debate. I don't believe a 747 hit the Pentagon and disappeared into a 30' hole leaving no wing marks, engine debris, landing gear marks or damage to the lawn. If a plane hit, why won't the govt release video to prove it?
JFK - I'm not informed enough to offer an opinion.

I believe that there could be aliens, but I don't believe aliens have ever been here on Earth. The universe is too vast to deny the possibility of intelligent life existing elsewhere. I also have done enough study on the subject to believe that there may very well have been a conspiracy in the JFK assassination. I will not go so far as to say there absolutely was one though. The others seem borderline, if not completely, ridiculous to me.

I would like to answer this question although I am not an athesist. I am a Christian however the only thing on that list of yours that I DO believe in is the Reflexology. Maybe not all of it. . . .just the foot rubbing part. I also agree with your comment to that "Christian". I believe that a true Christian is one who stands up for what they believe in while respecting other people's beliefs. Someone who can minister by their lifestyles of example and serving. .. . . .not someone who tries to cram their beliefs down someone elses throat. I have never met an atheist or agnostic or Wiccan who has criticized me for what I believe. Criticized Christians as a whole yes but never me as an individual. When you are condemning others (which by the way is not my job) it certainly does not sound like appealing to others when you are bitter and sitting in constant judgement of others

For me, pretty much right on. I would add homeopathy to the list.
UFOs - Although there is no evidence to support alien life visiting Earth, I'm agnostic about complex life elsewhere in the Universe based on probability.
JFK - I am skeptical of Oswald being a random guy who just wanted to shoot the president. I don't subscribe to any one theory, especially the official account. I'd say that the story is incomplete as of now.

I don't believe in Astrology, Reflexology, Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, 9/11 Conspiracy or the JFK conspiracy. As for alien UFO's I'd only believe it if I saw it with my own eyes (hasn't happened yet, so a no on that as well).

Astrology is crap. Seriously. Constellations don't determine your future. It's YOUR fault if you screw up.
UFOs are the product of the minds, or lack thereof, people who "saw" them in Roswell.
I don't know much about reflexology, but find it hard to believe that you can stimulate body parts by squeezing your ears or whatever.
Bigfoot is made up, some weird guy in a suit that set up that video. They admitted it, remember?
The Loch Ness monster was probably a toy dinosaur in a bathtub or something.
9/11 conspiracy? Depends what you mean by that. It was quite obviously a planned terrorist attack.
JFK conspiracy...Lee Harvey Oswald was a demented Bolshevik, nothing more. I don't think the CIA brought him down or anything.
