I am the parent who is sharing the computer with my son and I have learned the hard way that there is no way in hell to install or even fix a problem without their password. I would just ask them for it or have them install itunes for you otherwise you are stuck like chuck.

Check this, If there name or anyone on the computers name is "Administrator" then it wont work. (not including safe mode) otherwise save it on your desktop and click run-as. and hit the "other account" or w/e and type "Administrator" and hit enter :p should work. if not you can restart your computer hit f8 on startup and when it starts in safe mode there should be an extra account called "Administrator" click it, if its passworded stop there. if it isnt then go on and add a password and install itunes from there :p
