The dream messages are in a subconscious mind's language that makes no sense to our reasoning mind, thus they're rejected quickly from our consciousness, however, they are stored in subconscious memory banks accessible in a meditation or a day dreaming state. I hope it helps.

The reason some people remember dreams more readily than others is generally just because of the way their brains sort information when they dream. It's really complicated, and very little is actually known about sleep and dreaming.
If you're interested in remebering more of your dreams here's how:
Start writing down every little thing you can remember. I know it sounds weird, but over time (the course of a few months) your dream recall rate will increase dramatically.
Once you reach this point, where you can remember two or three dreams every night, you may actually be able to perfect the ability to "lucid dream".
A ludic dream is when during a dream, you actually realize you are dreaming and then have the ability to control that dream. It's very tricky business, and I strongly suggest more research before doing this, but it's really cool once you perfect it.
I have managed a few lucid dreams of my own.
Back to the question: the best way to remember your dreams is to start small. When you wake up from a dream write it down quick, even in your hazy state of mind. In the morning, read it and see if you can make sense of it. You will be amazed by what you can recall.
Be patient! It takes quite a while before you will be able to remember a complete dream if you don't remember any now. If you stick with it long enough you will be able to remember the majority of your major dreams. (two to five per night depending on how long you sleep)
Note: Do you dream in color or in black and white? It seems that people who dream in color have an easier time remembering their dreams for a longer period of time.
:) I hope this helps.

We all dream every night and even if we remember some of the dreams there are many we forget. If you want to remember, keep a notebook by your bed and write your dreams as soon as you wake up. You will start to remember more each day.

try taking ginko biloba regularly and drink orange juice and eat a banana before bed every night if that doesn't help then nothing will!
