Being religious doesn't get you to heaven. The pharisees and sadducees of Jesus' time were religious and Jesus told them they wouldn't enter the gates of Heaven. Homosexuality is what the bible defines as sin, just like murder (the serial killer). The difference between the two is the born again serial killer repented for murder. Repentance happens as a result of being born again. That's what being born again is all about. It's not about religion it's a relationship. If you are born again and have a relationship with Jesus Christ, He turns you away from sin, and it changes you from the inside out. No longer do you want to sin. I hope this doesn't come off mean, I don't mean for it to.

Because a serial killer repents and no longer indulges in their sin; it merely becomes a part of their past that is washed away. But a gay person does not cast away their sin, they keep it and pretend to be saved. Being religious means nothing, being sanctified is what matters. If you are sanctified, you will no longer be "gay" or a serial killer or a thief..... Any religious person can still be those things though, but no sanctified person will be.

Because a (born again) serial killer is (born again.) This means he has admitted his sin, turned from it and accepted Christ as savior. A religious gay person is the same as a religious liar, thief ,murderer, adulterer, fornicator, ETC... They have not repented of their sin and cannot go to heaven in an unrepentant state. God Bless!!!

it depends on the heart of the killer and the gay person. If the murderer has repented and changed his heart, and if the gay person repents and turns back to God both will be in heaven. Here we go again - God does say homosexuality is an abomination but NOTHING Is beyond the forgiveness of the cross, if repented.

Can a Believer "Lose" His Salvation? Or pronounced extra wisely, Can He Forfeit It? "Has God certainly stated...those on the rocky soil are people who, while they pay attention, acquire the be conscious with exhilaration; and those haven't any business enterprise root; they suspect for a on a similar time as, and in time of temptation fall away."? (Luke 8:13) the scripture needless to say teaches the two the sovereignty of God AND the unfastened will of fellows. to disclaim it incredibly is irrational, and could be brought about via something different than reason in keeping with scriptural precepts. The scriptural place is that a individual who's saved can forfeit that salvation. The bible teaches those at maximum possibility of forfeiting their salvation are people who're newly saved, and people who proceed on in familiar disobedience, after being born back. The go with are those whom God chosen, whom God foresaw could the two have confidence in His Son AND who could undergo or persevere interior the religion given them until the tip of their actual life, or the return of Jesus. those whose hearts are looking for for the Lord with all it incredibly is in them, could haven't any concern approximately "dropping" their salvation. Nor could they have any concern approximately forfeiting their salvation. Salvation can not be lost, besides the fact that that's forfeited - it incredibly is the character of covenants interior the bible. The bible no the place assure's somebody that salvation as quickly as won can not be became removed from or forfeited via the guy who possesses it. Receiving salvation includes guy's will, and not works. Forfeiting salvation includes guy's will, and not works. interior a similar way the Lord did not tension His salvation on all of us, He neither forces all of us to proceed to be interior the covenant.

If the serial killer continues killing, he will go to eternal darkness. A homosexual as well can be saved " If they change their lifestyle, period." That is what repentance is. We turn away from that behavior and embrace God's way. This isn't our word, but God's Word.

No murderer has eternal life abiding in him -1 John 3:15.
This is quite clear on the topic. Murderers do not go to heaven. Unfortunately, the news is the same for homosexuals, unless they repent.

If the serial killer never stops killing, then obviously he is not sorry for what he is done. He cannot enter Heaven, because he never stopped sinning (no repentance).

Ditto for any other sin.

A born again reformed gay could. God loves us all and wants us to choose Jesus as our savior and go to heaven. Once we are saved we are supposed to obey the ten commandments though.

Religion does not make you a Christian: Christianity is a relationship with God and Jesus. If a gay person claims they are a Christian then they are saying they have become abstinent. Adultery is just as much a sin as being a practicing homosexual.
