The oldest I've ever heard of is about 18 years old, I think anything over 15 is pretty old.

Some of the miniture dogs can live about 20-22 years in human age, and that is 140-154 years old in doggie age. Bigger dogs ten to last only 8-9 years on the average, but some live to be 10-13.

Small dogs generally live longer than large dogs. A small dog could live to be 18 years old or so. But a large dog like a Great Dane is considered "old" when it is more than 5 yrs old because giant dogs seldom live more than 7 or 8 years.

It depends on the dog. Larger dogs tend to live shorter lives (10-13 years). Small dogs live 15, sometimes 20 years or more (though not generally much more).

Very. Average life span depends largely on breed and size, although diet, vet care, and general health play a factor as well. Smaller dogs usually live longer, some into their 20's. The giant breeds usually don't make it much past 10, but there are exceptions.

Depends on the breed, larger dogs dont live as long as smaller breeds, for larger dogs like german shepards etc the usual lifespan is around 12 years, but for smaller dogs it is around 16years obviously there are exceptions.
