I would like to say a few things to the people above first(AKA the Dorks)
No, eating nothing will not help you lose fat. Yes it will help you have less weight, which is the muscle and fluids getting taken out of your body. Next, the people that said do crunches and sit ups to help you lose the fat off your stomach. This will not get it off as it only builds muscle which results in a bigger belly size.
My answer:
Preventing stomach fat is impossible. It all depends on your genetics and where your body stores the fat. For some people, the gets stored in the butt, in other people in the arms. It all varies for peoples types. If you want to get it off, you must first use an online calculator to determine how much calories your metabolism burns, then subtract about 300-400 calories from that. My metabolism burns about 1900 calories per day. I eat around 1500 calories a day. Never eat less than 1,200. Remember to eat 5-6 times a day and in about a 2-4 hour period. Drink plenty of water as it will regulate and remove toxins from your body. Drink Green Tea as it helps with toxins and prevents diseases.
Also, your metabolism gets boosted and burns more calories when you gain more muscle.
Now the most important part:
Cardio Activity
You must do alot of this. This includes doing jogging, elliptical, basketball. Basically anything on where your heart gets pumping. If you can measure your heart rate, never get more than 175 beats because then you switch to anaerobic, which means that your body will not supply oxygen to the important organs. This burns less calories than aerobic, but anaerobic has a better after-workout calorie burn. It's all up to you.
Remember:
Eat healthy
Workout by lifting weights
Cardio activity
Hope this helps you.

You may need to watch your diet and do aerobics and toning. There is usually one problem place where it's always the last area to lose fat from, so while the rest might be fine you just need to keep going and that area will eventually shape up. Also avoid transfats, those add to fat in the stomach area.

I'm in the same predicament, and my personal trainer suggested vigorous cardio, for 30 - 45 minutes a pop, at least four or five times a week.
Target training your abs without adding the cardio won't yield the results you want. Basically, you'll just build a layer of muscle under all that fat.
Good luck!

men usually get fat reserves stored on their abdomen (women get them mostly all over their bodies) so the only way to get rid of your belly is by overall weight (fat) loss
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Be a kid once more! When eating out, order any child’s sandwich, pizza or pizza. Then you can have the treats you're keen on, while reducing your portions and lowering your calorie intake.

have a good, balanced diet and exercise. Though you need to do exercises for all parts of your body, try to focus on ab workouts like crunches.

Hello Jakester. The easiest way to loose stomach fat without surgery is probably either weight loss pills, a strict diet, or just plain old fashioned exercise. If you try any of these methods and nothing has improved message me immediately!!!
