I just got a windows vista, and my previous computer just came with Microsoft Word...how do i get it on a Windows Vista???

You put in the install CD, and it should autoplay and start the install for you. It will ask you some questions like your name and product key (on the back of the CD case) and you just keep answering the questions and clicking the Next button. It's very easy and will walk you through it.

Don't think you can. When you installed and activated Word on your previous computer, Microsoft took your product key and mixed it with information about the computer, and came up with what they call an "installation ID." When you try to install on another PC, it will either not work or you will be given a trial version.
