Wow you all sure twist being saved to your favor and twist Christs words also here is a quote:

In Matthew 17:20 Jesus says:

For truly, I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.

In Matthew 21:21:

I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.

This is what Jesus says:

"Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. "

John 5:24

What do you say?

The answers to your prayers will not allways be answered the way you like. If that were so my wife and I would have the greatest marriage ever known, I would have enough money to not have to every worry about anything, my alcoholic mother and step-father would sober up and become outstanding Christians, my brother would not have to worry about losing his job because his factory is shutting down, my wife would not have had a miscarriage this weekend and so on. Does that make me loose faith. No. I still have my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and I will still pray.

It's 100% false. How many good people are beat up in life and are perfectly good Christians? Did they not pray hard enough?

you know...God isn't an ATM machine. you don't get to stick in a prayer and get some sort of pay-off...

and if that is your motivation for prayer, then good luck with that...
