Do you think you're the only atheist to try and use a Christian's own arguments against him? And do you think your examples of Christian arguments are really the most accurate examples, or did you just pick the worst ones. Because I've never heard or personally used any of them the way you did. Perhaps you've never debated an educated Christian on the topic. A little experience would teach you that there are perfectly intelligent people on both sides of this issue. Only the unseasoned atheist would disagree. Let me demonstrate. 1. Creation is not a scientific theory. It is a fact. It does not belong in a science classroom because no theory of origin can be accurately called 'science', including any evolutionary origin theory. Neither theory is observable or repeatable. The theories of origin belong in classes like "Intro to Scientific Thought", like some universities have done. But not in science classes. 2. The complexity of life in any form, including human, demonstrates design to me. It is illoical to conclude that randomness begets order. To assume that the multiplied millions of complex systems and organisms in existence today are the result of...absolutely nothing and no one, is farther fetched to me than suggesting God was the cause for it all. 3. You can't know that God is not real based on never having felt Him. But you CAN know God is real if you have experienced Him. It's like saying, "I've never gotten anything from Nelson Mandela, so he doesn't exist." That's nonsense. But I can say, "I've gotten a gift from Nelson Mandela, so he does exist." My point is, if you've never taken the journey, you can't share with me the experience. 4. This point just makes no good sense, and I've shown it to 5 people now. lol 5. Most Christians don't say, "How could you believe in evolution. It's just a theory." What we do say, though, quite frequently is, "How could you believe in evolution? It's already shown to be an inept and less than satisfactory theory for the evidence we have." (Of course, we know that the first debate between us is over the evidence itself, then the theory.) 6. The Bible speaks about real people, places and events and dates many of those events within an historical framework. The New Testament especially reads not like myth at all, but like recorded history. In fact, if we use the rules of textual criticism consistently across all ancient documents, we find the Bible to be some of the most reliable historical documents of antiquity. 7. The main problem with these objections is that you assume Christianity to be false a priori. In other words, you are coming from an anti-Christian bias to begin with.

1) Evolution is one man's THEORY! A theory I might add that Michael Cremo proved false. 2) Animals do not have a soul. If one monkey evolved why didn't they all. Why are there still monkeys, If humans evolved from them. 3) If you knew God then you would feel him in your heart. 4). All men are evil, they are born that way, Its called the sin nature, we have to be shown (taught) by our parents not to be that way. Here's an example:(take two, 2 year olds, sit them both in the same play pen and toss in one toy) SIN NATURE 5) The Bible is not just a theory, Its a book written by men , chosen by God, led by the Holy Spirit for BELIEVERS. 6). Everyone knows that fairys are not real, only in fairytails.....RIGHT............ 7) You would know that God was real if you would only believe. You would feel him, How can you doubt something that you have never experienced. Christians base their faith on how the Holy Spirit makes them feel. So you are saying that every saved believer is lying. WOW!!!!!! How do you know, you don't know what is in another mans heart. And the reason you don't understand the Bible is because it was not written for unbelievers, it was written for BELIEVERS, you will never understand it, The Holy Spirit opens up the scriptures to BELIVERS, gives them the knowledge of understanding, therefore we know what it teaches and what it means. The most intelligent person on earth will never obtain the full knowledge of the Bible and understand it, unless they were saved, and being led by the Holy Spirit. Thats the only way to gain an understanding of it. Not just anyone can open the book and begin to read it and understand it. Oh there smart enough to read the words, but to know what those words actually mean is something totally different. They don't mean what you think they mean........IT WAS WRITTEN FOR BELIEVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Faith come by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Not reading, hearing. Once you gain that Faith by hearing, then and only then can you read and understand the word of God. You guys are way out of line with all the downgrading you do towards Christians. There are real Christians, and there are people only claiming to be Christians. Its one thing to choose not to believe something, but its another to downgrade something you don't have the knowledge to understand. It just makes you look ingorant.

And I do not know how to tell you if there is a god; but there is evidence that souls exist. Do you study metaphysics? that would explain some things that I can not say in this little answer. not all people who believe in god act that way, i see where you are coming from. i think everyone should respect each others religion, or lack of. i like to talk to all kinds of people about what they think , and i have no boundaries in educating myself, whether it be Jewish, atheist, Christian, Protestant,pagan, etc. i find it all interesting and i think many people feel that way. One thing I have noticed being on YA is that Christians fail to realize that "Logical" does not equal "Factual". They think just because they have a logical progression of thought means that the conclusion is factual, but of course it doesn't mean that at all. Obviously most Christians have the intellectual capacity of a quashed apricot.

For Evolution to be a fact.....it would have to be seen, documented, and proven...IT never has been..nor will it ever be. With creation, we believe on faith that he spoke and it was......easier to believe than thinking an "great bang explosion" created order....rofl how many explosions today created order? and if it DID happen> why are each of the planets so different and distinct? I mean shouldnt they of been made from the same substance when the "bang" happend?
