Do cardio 3-5 times a week, for at least 30 min at at time. Start off with walking, later you can increase to a fast walk/jog if you feel like it.
Weight-train at least one day a week. Building muscle helps you lose weight while you are at rest.
Try and keep to at least a 1200 calorie diet. Just stick to healthy foods and try to represent all the food groups appropriately. Some people go wrong by trying to severely limit their calorie intake. If you starve yourself, your body will go into survival mode and try to store energy instead of burning it.
If you take off about 5 lbs a month, then you will be more likely to keep it off than if you lose a lot more.
Good luck, it takes a lot of hard work, but it will be worth it!

Jeez, I have no idea why you shouldn't be losing weight if you eat healthy and exercise daily. Do you exercise daily? That's really the key: a little bit every day. Also try portioning, like if you eat a lot during the day but little healthy meals that can be bad too. Try breakfast, healthy snack, medium-sized lunch, healthy snack, then dinner. Also, Jorge Cruz (I think that's how you spell it) has some good books about losing weight. Good luck :)

Listen to your body. Think about what you're really hungry for and eat it. Have fun. Don't just exercise. Don't exercise for the purpose of exercising. Do what you like, go swimming, hiking, play basketball, whatever you enjoy doing. TV is also a good thing to avoid. And don't worry about your weight, learn to love who you are. If you only wear a 7 or 9 then you are just fine. Enjoy your childhood while you still can! Cause you'll miss it when it's over!

Play lots of DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) you should buy the game for your game system and there's a thing on there that tells you how many calories you burned after you do songs. It's a fast/ fun way to lose weight. :) That's one reason why schools in the USA are having DDR as a class to take. Hope this helps.

Avoid refined foods and sugar.
Foods that have been heavily processed (especially those full of additives) cause the body to gain and hold onto weight. Fast foods are about the worst things you can eat. Additives and sugars can cause a body to store as much as 20 pounds of weight in the intestines and in excess fluids.

to get permanent results you have to make permanent diet changes (temporary diet changes will lead to temporary results)
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Go vegan.
You'll be lean and fit for the rest of your life as long as you don't eat a bunch of processed junk foods for every meal.
get this book: http://www.amazon.com/Becoming-Vegan-Complete-Adopting-Plant-Based/dp/1570671036/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/105-2443149-2024404?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1181001461&sr=8-1
Since I've gone vegan I have become so much leaner and have so much energy and feel so clean and healthy! I wish I would have made such a good change when I was 15...

Maybe you are just built really muscular. Just keep on excerising and walking and crap. If you don't look it it doesn't matter.
Weight means nothing. People aren't gonna like put on the scale when you come over just to see how much you weigh haha. And if anyone asked just lie :-) if you dont look that much then dont worry!
