Why are some older men only attracted to very young women??

Question

I'm thinking about dating a older guy, but he only like me because I'm 13 year younger than he is. He told me the youngest girl he ever dated was only 19, but he is 36. He said that older women are set in their ways. I know I shouldn't date him because one day I will be old and he may not want me.

uhhhh...I would be very cautious about dating him if I were you. The fact that he told you that he doesn't date anyone "set in their ways" is proof that he wants to change you into what he thinks you should be.

Older Women is relative. What do you consider older? When I was 18 and older women was 23. I am 41 so an older women would be my age. Typically men are attracted to adult women in the 18-30 range. But to answer you question: Younger guys are attracted to older women because they play less games. Younger women sometimes do not know what they want and waste guys time. Older women tend to have more responsibilities and do not have as much time to waste. If they want to start a relationship with a guy they are not going to wait as long to start having sex etc.. because again they don't want to waste time, they have more experience sizing up a guy.

I am 36, active and fun. I have had many twenty somethings interested in me and vice versa.
What he meant by "set in there ways" is not as barbaric as some of the above comments. Some of the women my age are just tired of trying new things. Like getting out at night, outdoorsy stuff, taking off for the weekend. Younger women are more active than MOST women in there 30's ( I say that lightly because there are some thirty that do, just not as many.)
Don't get me wrong, I love to hang around the house every once in a while. But not as a regular course of action. I wouldn't bank on the relationship lasting too long, but unless you are looking for something permanent, just have fun.

He's missing out on wonderful woman his age.. But we all have preferences in who we want physically and mentally. I'm dating a woman 24 and I just turned 40.. I've also dated a 49 year old woman when I was 35, so age isn't important.. I do have to say the physical attraction with the 24 year old is much stronger... Your guy just hasn't opened his mind up to the wonderful strengths of older beautiful women..

Maybe your relationship will age so he can experience your wonders when you age gracefully .....

I hope so if you decide to give him a chance....He may be good for you....

He's a pervert! What the *beep* does a 36 year old want with a 19 year old? I understand dating older men, but girl he's is wayyyyyyy to old.

BTW - "set in their ways" means that no one but a young girl is going to put up with his BS.

younger women tend to be a little more easy to "control" for a while, at least. True, older women (and men too) are more set in their ways and mostly prefer to control the men in some way. Follow your heart

speaking from experience i will say dont do it! i was 18 when i married my exhusband he was almost 33.it was for a few reasons - the sex was great,it made him feel young to be with me and i was so naive that he had complete control of me.not a good thing.we had 5 children and i was the one who took care of everything and he did what he wanted.it was easy cause i was 1,200 miles away from my family i had no money ever,no phone and i was afraid! find someone else! good luck.oh after he ruined my life and treated me like dirt he left me for a tramp who is 5 years younger than me but looks 25 years older has no boobs no butt no sense she cant even read or write or do simple math! i am not lying!you are right when you are older he will trade you in! been there,done that!

maybe he feels that he is still a young person, maybe he thinks he is young for his age, and he doesn't think he will find a woman his age like that. On the other hand, it can also mean that he would have more control over you since you are so much younger, so be careful! hope this helped

a lot of reasons --- to try and recapture their youth --- as a trophy (look at me and the lady i was able to attract) --- the lady is looking for financial security ---- and sometimes it is true love

i am human and yes i am attracted to a pretty face --- i also wanted a relationship with a lady around my age group --- i had dated some and then we met --- she is so much younger than me yet the attraction was mutual and instant --- and its never been about age its be about personality and character -- i am still astounded at how profoundly she has affected me and how after many years i am getting rid of bad habits

honey you shouldn't worry about him loving u. If he wants,cares,and loves you then there should not be a problem. I know what I'm talking about. My husband is 55 and I am 35 and this December we will be married for 5 yrs. and things are wonderful. You have to take the good with the bad. He has some problems and I have some problems but thats what are marriage is LOVE. I am with him til the end and he is with me and thats whats love and marriage is all about. Old men like young women because they feel like they can control you and mold you. That is why they don't like older women and why he said "older women are set in their ways." Yound women make them feel like they are cool and make them look better to other people (or at least they think that!)
