Yes, most likely a problem in the inner ear. If she doesn't seem bothered by it, she probably doesn't have an active infection. She was either born this way, or she had a very bad infection, before you got her, that caused permanent damage to the ear.

Brain damage it also possible. If the cat lacked oxygen at birth, you might be seeing a mild form of feline "cerebral palsy."

If it has always been like that, and your vet has said it's fine, then don't worry about it, but do make sure there are no open windows or balconies that it can fall out of.

OH! That sounds exactly like what happened to one of my cats 2 yrs ago. He walked into walls and tripped down the stairs. Took him to the vet right away and he had Vertigo! He's extremely dizzy I bet. Harley (my cat) had to be on 2 different meds for a few weeks but eventually got better. My vet is not sure how it happened. He could've hit his head. But he got better and is still fine now.

Good luck!

Some kittens are born with neurological problems. Often a mom cat that contracts feline distemper (panleukopenia) during pregnancy will give birth to kittens that have difficulty walking. Another thought is a possible ear infection or heavy infestation with ear mites that is throwing it off balance. Please, this is serious, get your kitten checked by a veterinarian.

Sounds like a neurological problem. have it evaluated by your vet. It either has a brain disorder, could have been born with it or it was injured when it was a very young kitten. Only a good Vet can diagnose the problem.

Low potassium, neurological, cardiac problem. I would take the cat to the vet who could run a full blood profile and workup.
