If no one deserved to suffer eternally, then God, who is all-just and cannot do evil, would neither send nor allow them to go to hell.
The truth is, man is in gross darkness and has no conception of the depth of his wickedness and rebellion against a Holy God.
Even righteous Job, when confronted with the awesome majesty and holiness of God said this:
"I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear,
but now my eye sees you;
therefore I despise myself,
and repent in dust and ashes." Job 42:5-6
The very fact that you make such an assertion and cast aspersions against the integrity and righteousness of God testifies how wicked you really are. You would condemn God to justify yourself.
Furthermore you completely disregard the testimony of God that He sent His Son from Heaven to die on a cross and redeem men from the fate of hell by simply putting their trust in Him.
I can't imagine how you suppose anyone who thinks that way should ever deserve eternal blessings in the Kingdom of Heaven.

You are absolutely right, Darian, and that perversion of God's loving nature is one reason many are athiests today.
First of all, Hell is not taught in the Old Testament, and the New Testament's usage is a perversion of the Greek. You will remember the Greek believed in Hades, separated from the earth by the River Styx.
The Bible says "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus." You earn death, and that is an eternal punishment, not eternal punishing. There is a difference.
Heaven is only "heavenly" because no one sins there--self is never exalted, and the servent is the greatest. It is your greatest pleasure to do something nice to others.
But selfishness entered in. There is no excuse for it, It originated with a perfect being who thought to start a Democratic Government where whoever lies the best gets elected. Guess you know where we are at election time.
God will punish sin--it can not be excused. There is a legal term called "retributivism"--it means there is a punishment or WAGE FOR TRANSGRESSION. But that is eternal death.
Now, Darin, one more thought. Jesus accepted the punishment for man's transgression. Where Adam failed, Jesus, the ruler of the universe, became what the Bible calls "the last Adam." And one day He will rule the entire universe from our re-created Earth.
That's right, Earth will be the new Heaven, and angels will travel to other systems from this "home base."
The plan of saving you and this rebellous planet is described in a last-day Bible code. select: http://abiblecode.tripod.com

scriptures say, so as in adam all men die; so in christ all men shall saved. this alone tells me that no one will be lost and all men no matter the sin or crime will be saved. Hell is a concept created by the greeks as a way to keep the people in line. Do the research, any library has the documentation that show that. The early fore fathers, george washington, sir issac newton, Scorates, and many other have gone on record and stated that Hell is a myth created to enslaved and disillusion the ignorance. So the traditional hell does not exist, but hell is an actual expression of the type of torment we experience when we come to our lowest point in our lives and we enter into dispair, uncertainty, and fear. This is when we can hear what is actually going on with us, thru the spirit of GOD, whether you believe in him or not

God gave us the choice of free will, he died so that we may live, according to his word. when someone goes to hell it is their choice, how they have lived their life while on earth. because we have free will we also have instruction and guidance, and just like there is good, there too is evil and it depends on what a person decides to accept. and you can repent with your mouth all day, however what is truly in your heart is what God will judge you by. some people do bad things yet aren't bad people. thank God for mercy and grace. judge not lest ye be judged-let he who is without sin cast the first stone

Would the understanding make any difference to those whom commit crimes that would send them there?
Did they repent totaly of their crimes? Or did they hold onto the memory within a closet where they can look at it once in a while because something about the experience gave them "pleasure" to do so?
God looks at their hearts and within all the closets within them (us)....what He finds there, and NOT by what He hears man SAY is how He judges and commits them to hell.
Peace be with you.

Hell is a construct invented to keep people in line. This is one of those things that is obviously 100% man-made. It doesn't take too much thinking or thought to realize the problems with eternal damnation while promoting a benevolent and loving god.

The bible does not say hell is a place where people are tormented for ever. This idea is originally from paganism, that the soul exists for ever. God's punishment is death, not eternal torture.

Why Do We Suffer?
Lets see what the bible has to say about suffering starting in the beginning. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1) God saw all that He had made, and it was very good. (Genesis 1:31) So, God created everything and saw everything was good. This means in the beginning there was no suffering at all.
If there was no suffering in the beginning how did suffering come to the world? When Adam sinned he brought death and suffering into the world. Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned. (Romans 5:12) Here is Gods curse to us because of Adam: To Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it,' "Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return." (Genesis 3: 17-19)
As you can see man brought suffering on himself. Sin is the cause of suffering. Without sin there is no suffering. Without the law there is no sin. So anything God says not to do is sin. Sin is lawlessness. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) Sin is simply rebelling against God. The effect of our rebelling against God is death and suffering. Sin was the biggest cancer that was brought on to the earth. Sin separates us from God. When we are separated from God we are cursed. Through the curse of our separation there is suffering.
When people say why do bad things happen to good people? The answer is no one is good. Jesus said, “No one is good—except God alone.” (Luke 18:19) The question should be why does God allow good things to happen to bad people. No one goes to God first. God has to come to us first. No one seeks God. So the answer to the question about suffering is simply we suffer because of our rebellion against God. Sin is the reason of suffering and deat

There is no justification for hell. None. It's one of the main reasons I could never be a Christian. How could you worship a god that allows eternal torment?

YOU...... Assume.... FACTS..... "NOT IN EVIDNECE!"
GOD...... Sends.... NO ONE TO HELL.... It is their CHOICE!
(Hebrews 10:28-to-31) He who despised Moses' Law died without mercy on the word of two or three witnesses.
(Heb 10:29) Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy of punishment, the one who has trampled the Son of God, and who has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
(Heb 10:30) For we know Him who has said, "Vengeance belongs to Me, I will repay, says the Lord." And again, "The Lord shall judge His people."
(Heb 10:31) It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
YOU.... Have NEVER.... Searched for GOD! For GOD....Says this in His WORD....!
(Jeremiah 29:11-12-13) For I know the purposes which I am purposing for you, says Jehovah; purposes of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
(Jer 29:12) Then you shall call on Me, and you shall go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
(Jer 29:13) And you shall seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
HAVE..... You.... EVEN.... Read the BIBLE?
Thanks, RR
