You are taking a similar path that I took. I was a Catholic, but I became an Atheist in 6th grade after over a year of struggle and after actually reading the Bible. Later, in 8th grade, I became an agnostic. Of course, these were never *choices* for me, only realizations and insights that I couldn't control.
Don't worry about your age. It's never too young to start thinking for yourself. Like you said, you respect others. That's all that matters. Just know that it's not easy transitioning from one to the other, because it brings up questions like, "What's the point in living? What's the point of doing anything?" Just know plenty of people question these. Just keep living life the best you can. It's all you can do =)
Oh, and keep an open mind about everything - God, people, etc. People can be wrong without being all wrong, and people can be your friends while still disagreeing with you. I have many Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, and Muslim friends =) (Not a Buddhist yet, though...)

No only I can say your blood is boiling gal.Teenagers and at some cases adults also believe god never existed as he came to the earth in human form he can't being recognized by the atheists. So first of all don't blame yourself for thinking yourself as an atheist as the god is living with in ourselves we can't make him vanish all of a sudden.
You never said you never believe in god at least you said respects in most of the religions and doesn't making any prayers does not say you are an atheist.
Atheist really means the kinda people who disrespect the religions and tells around god never existed as there are no proof of him after his death that he is still living with in ourselves or around.
Nowadays these are seen in most of the people even me when I was 15 or 16 but later I realized....
Thus stating these I proved that you are not an atheist but a god lover but you may take time for these things perhaps some time longer but don't ever believe GOD never existed.

We do not know how long we will be here, so waiting could be a bad mistake. Get to know God through His word. You would be far better off to believe in God and be wrong than to disbelieve in Him and be wrong, think about it! Pray and ask God to be real to you and then read His word, the Bible. A good Bible believing church can be helpful. To those who would try to tell you that there is no God - " The fool has said in his heart, there is no God" Psalm 14:1 and Psalm 53:1 Don't throw forever away!

No, it's not a bad thing. I was born and raised Athiest, and all those around me seem so... limited. I'm not a bad person or anything. People think that just because I'm Athiest I don't have morals, or I am a bad person, which is a lie. It's stupid people that give us a bad name. You can be one of the ones that show that you can be good, and not believe in fairytales at the same time.

Have you actually read the Bible for yourself? My husband was also raised Catholic and at one point was agnostic, but it took reading the entire Bible for himself to make an informed decision. It doesn't make sense to reject something on hearsay either. If you are confused about what you believe that is one thing, but don't reject something like religion entirely without studying for yourself.

It is a bad idea to confine yourself to a belief system that you don't resonate with for any period of time. Age has nothing to do with your spiritual (or non-spiritual) fulfillment, as the case may be. Follow your own path to happiness whether it involves believing in God or not!

I'm not religious at all, but the only advice I can give you is to keep an open mind. Don't decide something and then decide that you will never ever ever believe something else.

I struggled with it for about 7 or 8 years before it became clearer to me at 16 years of age. You're not too young if you're ready for it.

How old were you when you started thinking for yourself? That's the point at which you became an atheist.
