How is it you find evolution implausible when humans have been using selective breeding among plants and animals to select the more desirable traits for many centuries?

okay tim, what i am talking about is selective breeding which relates directly to the Theory of Natural Selection (read: selective breeding by nature) which is the primary factor in the theory of evolution

and before we go on... do we all know the real definition of the word "theory?"

the thing is, poodles, no matter how much "selective breeding " they go through are still POODLES- they are still DOGS - they have not and are nowhere near and will never become some other creature.
Creationists are not stupid or ignorant- we know what the facts are , we know what has been proven and what is reproducible. We don't deny what is fact. We do , however, question what has not and cannot be proven- we do not accept as fact the things that are assumtions and the thingsthat are based on nothing but assumption. Evolutionists are constantly lumping in what is not proven , what is theory in with what is fact and expect everyone to accept it ALL as fact without looking into it, but when we do read and research and take into account ALL the facts and common sense we are the idiots- go figure

Selective breeding is not an example of a type change. Only a modification within a current type. That's microevolution at best, and no ID scientists or even creationists for that matter disagree about that.

Dude... you are talking about microevolution which has been, obviously, observed.
You want to prove evolution? Think about all the money spent on horse breeding for the kentucky derby. Why don't they just slap some wings on those babies and have them fly around the track? Cuz it's impossible.

The dalmation and the chihuahua do have a common ancestor... it's a dog!

Regardless of the types of traits it has, it is still the same type of animal.
You are referring to microevolution.
There are 6 parts to evolution:
1.Chemical
2.Cosmic
3.Organic
4.Stellar and Planetary
5.Macro
6.Micro

Microevolution is the only part of evolution that has been proven true. You are referring to microevolution and trying to prove macroevolution. This is the same thing that Charles Darwin did.

Christians believe that mutations have limits, though.
For example:

Farmers are always trying to breed larger bigs, but they will never breed a pig the size of Texas

Some cockroaches have become resistant to pesticides, but they will never become resistant to a sledgehammer.

Yes, I believe in unnatural selection, but not natural selection.

But have they changed that poodle into, lets say, a monkey? Or that fish into a human?
That is what evolution teaches, that one species can become another. Sounds pretty absurd.

Apparently you never met MY poodle when I was a kid. The dog would yap at dust. I still love poodles.

You haven't seen a poodle bite a man's hand and tear it open before, have you?

Hey, Church Lady... Are you feeling better today? I sure hope so!
