Hell is the opposite of perfect. I cannot think of one possible justification for hell. No one deserves to suffer enternally, yet a perfect being creates hell. He sent the devil there for trying to take over along with judas. Isnt that out of wrath, a deadly sin. Does that mean god is above the law? If he is than he isnt perfect because no one should be above the law.

#1 HADES http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/hades

The unseen world, translated hell in A.V., Matt. 11:23; 16:18; Luke 10:15; 16:23; Acts 2:27,31; Rev. 1:18; 6:8; 20:13,14. See Hell. Eventually, came to designate the abode of the dead.

#2 GEHENNA http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/gehenna

Gehenna' is a word tracing to Greek, ultimately from Hebrew: Gêhinnôm also Gei-ben-Hinnom, meaning the Valley of Hinnom. The valley, which forms the southern border of ancient Jerusalem, is first mentioned in Joshua 15:8. Originally it referred to a garbage dump in a deep narrow valley right outside the walls of Jerusalem (in modern-day Israel) where fires were kept burning to consume the refuse and keep down the stench. It is also the location where bodies of executed criminals, or individuals denied a proper burial, would be dumped. Today, "Gehenna" is often used as a SYNONYM for Hell.

#3. SHEOL http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/sheol

Sheol is the Hebrew language word denoting the "abode of the dead"; the "underworld", "the common grave of mankind" or "pit". It is also transliterated Sheh-ole, in Strong's Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries and Strong's Concordances. In the Hebrew Bible it is portrayed as a comfortless place beneath the earth, beyond gates, where both the bad and the good, slave and king, pious and wicked must go after death to sleep in silence and oblivion in the dust. In some sources, for example in Deuteronomy 32:22, Sheol seems to be synonymous with the "depths of the earth". Sheol is the common destination of both the righteous and the unrighteous dead; the righteous Job sees it as his destination (Job 3). In the Book of Job, while Satan is portrayed as tormenting and testing the living, he does not appear to have any particular presidency over Sheol, or to dwell in Sheol.

#4 TARTARUS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/tartarus

Christianity's Tartarus: In the Bible, 2 Peter 2:4, Tartarus is designated as a section of Hades that the fallen angels who had produced the Nephilim of Genesis 6 were cast into to await judgment by God. It does not figure prominently into the doctrines of Christianity; many translations of the Bible insert Hell in the place of Tartarus. No other specific use of the word Tartarus is in the Bible, however, Jude 6 describes the abode of the same fallen angels mentioned in 2 Peter as 'total darkness'.

THE LAKE OF FIRE (which means the 2nd death, the lake of fire)

See (The Book of Revelation 20:14) and also Acts Ch. 5, the story of Ananias & Sapphira sinning against the Holy Spirit. Here we see in The Book of Revelation Ch. 20:14 where "Death & Hades" or both DEATH AND HELL are thrown into the Lake of Fire, THE 2ND DEATH, to be destroyed eternally it says HERE! So, we see that the Lake of Fire is Symbolic for ETERNAL DESTRUCTION. Much the same way Gehenna was for the destruction it caused! Nothing that goes in comes out. Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5 are both eternally destroyed for sinning against the "holy ghost/spirit" for lying to it. So, much like before they were born, they are now, neither knowing anything nor suffering.

Personal Note:

There IS NO ETERNAL BURNING HELL. This is YET ANOTHER (OF MANY, MANY) apostasies brought INTO THE EARLY Christian church from PAGAN origins. As many have wondered, God is NOT so unkind to make someone suffer eternally for "simply" not accepting him or his son's sacrifice. Sooner or later anyone's sins would have been paid in that kind of hell according to a "righteous" God.

When you die, you die, i.e., Jesus Christ died and went to Hell for 3 days and was resurrected, however he was DEAD, he was not burning in eternal fires. Christ Jesus also promised his followers a resurrection, and this is ALSO WHERE everyone who DIED BEFORE CHRIST is resting, waiting for their resurrections. Read below: For one thing, the scriptures speak of 4 hells, plus the Lake of Fire in Rev. 20:14.

It is obvious that you do not have a personal relationship with God. If you did, you could answer your own question. God did not create hell, nor did he create religions or religious texts. They are man made....and for man made purposes.

God is very real. But, man has taken some of his words and twisted them to match their own agendas. God has led me to know that there is an evil force in this world but He has never said anything about hell...or for that matter...Satan as an individual. Being in the presence of God daily is the most wonderful and fulfilling life I could have wanted....and continuing in his presence after my earthly body is dead is something I look forward to in my future. But for those who have not answered Him when he called them, I do not know what will happen to them other than the fact that they will not know His presence. I feel pity for them.

Satan is well and alive on planet earth. As a matter of fact, he is prince of this earth.

God created Hell. The reason is that Hell is the place of eternal punishment for Satan and demons and for those who do not want to go to Heaven. Heaven and Hell are the only two choices left. You can either choose Jesus and go to Heaven or not choose Him and go to Hell. It's your choice. God wants you to come and be with Him.

Do you know what hell is? It is not a place that you think of. Hell is where all that is bad and evil is destroyed, gone, exist no more and that doesn't happen until after judgment day. "Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire"

Justification IS the reason for hell. A just Judge would send those deserving punishment to a place where that punishment could be administered. We have a similar judicial system here in our country where we send convicted criminals to jail for things like stealing, murder, pedophilia (although the ACLU usually gets them out quickly), etc.
Someone (Jesus) stepped in and paid the price for our actions, but you must accept His gift.

Hell is perfect! the perfect place for evil. Hell was not
orginally created for humans but for satan and his demon
followers. Hell is a reality and you should get used to its existance, but through Jesus Christ you do not have to worried about it.

God Bless

firstly, you must understand that the father is the law and all that he has done is good in his eye only. when the father created eden, he placed two trees there, one the tree of life in which man was freely to eat from, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and we know which tree man ate from. So this shows that by his own choice he wanted to decide what was good and what was evil, this ability wasnt reserved for man, only for god. When man decides its not based upon the law or spirit of GOD, its based upon how he is feeling emotionally, whats in it for him, and the limits of his patience. So god is perfect in his eyes cause his intent was for the good of man, but man chose to decide for himself. also judas only did what was expected of him by GOD and christ, and i believe he was forgiven the moment he thought to give christ up to the roman.
