Depends on how rabid some people are about nuking ourselves into non-existence, or other toxic or biological problems/terrorism. Then there are the magnetic poles shifting, super strains of various bacteria and viruses could take a toll, asteroids, hemorrhoids... j/k. We've got lots of ways to shuffle off this mortal coil... what's most important is NOW. What do we do NOW to cultivate wisdom, compassion and altruism?

Jesus isn't coming to save the world. He's coming to get His people out of the world before the tribulation. 2 Peter 3:10 talks about the earth being burned up so maybe global warming will play a part.

20 years ago Science was threatening us with the next ice age. Since there is equally good science refuting global warming I think I'll wait to see what happens 20years from now, unless of course Jesus has returned by then.
In the mean time we should definately be about the business of taking better care of the world we live in. Global warming or not, we are not the best caregivers.

Since global warming already IS destroying the planet, and Jesus has yet to show up, I would put my money with global warming.

global warming... if jesus was meant to come, dont you think this is a great time, with all the war and guilt flooding on this earth? but you never know maybe this world is just going to get worse and worse.... i hope not, remember there still is a lot of great people out there....im agnostic however so i dont have a great understanding about people's belief in jesus returning.....

jesus wont save the world if he returned hes more likely to start a global race war the way things are going with this f**ked up planet
i hope global warming will kill us all at least that way we will all die of our own self doing

earth is too resilliant to destroy just by global warming. however, if i had to put odds on which was more likely, i would say global warming destroys the planet
