Thankyou all for ur kind words and thanks for the hugs!
Terry G sister - I have been praying all day, I just can't get rid of this bad mood. After each prayer I feel calm until someone comes along and annoys me again. I have started taking some pills today...I wonder if this could be a side affect!

Salaam Sister. I am sorry about your mood and your day. Have you prayed? It always helps me, though sometimes I am so angry I cannot think clearly and have to pray again! LOL I agree with Muslim, listening to the Qur'an is a great idea, I really love that. I also listen to instrumental music, especially sax and harp, when I am stressed out. Cry too, if you need to, sometimes that is a great stress reliever. If all else fails, take a nice, long, hot bath with only a candle for light and go to bed early. And eat a piece of chocolate! ;-) Stay strong, Sister. Whatever you are experiencing is just a test and will pass soon, I am sure. Hugs!
Edit: I forgot, I gave you a star since I cannot reach out and really hug you.
Edit again: It could very well be the medication. I pray you will not need it for long. I know the feeling with praying and feeling good until someone comes along and ruins it for you. Just be as patient as you can and try to sleep early tonight. I pray tomorrow will be a better day, InshaAllah.

just saw this now...hope ur week gets better if not your day sister.
i've been there--sometimes it is better to just cry it out...tears release toxins that build up in your body from stress
it could be the meds too u never know
it's raining here and stormy --i'm thinking of it representing your feelings...
I actually like when it is like this sometimes...
wow I've only seen the sky yellow during a sandstorm before...it is late evening the sky is yellow and it is pouring rain subhanallah!
Remember God is with you dear sister....
next time somebody bothers you say FEZ said u need to be nice to me today! they will be SOOOOOO confused and then u can walk off laughing....
*hugs*
FEZ
edit: they sky is still yellow...and it is still pouring...trying to give it some meaning...you can cry and still have the brightness and light of God with you....might be cheesy but it's true!

Here is one of the blogs....read them.
A Touching Love Story......
A McDonald's love story...
A little old couple walked slowly into a McDonald's one cold winter evening.
They looked out of place amid the young families and young couples eating there that night.
Some of the customers looked admiringly at them. You could tell what the admirers were thinking:
"Look, there is a couple who has been through a lot together, probably for 60 years or more!"
The little old man walked up to the cash register, placed his order with no hesitation and then paid for their meal.
The couple took a table near the back wall and started taking food off of the tray.
There was one hamburger, one order of french fries and one drink.
The little old man unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half.
He placed one half in front of his wife.
Then he carefully counted out the french fries, divided them in two piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife.
He took a sip of the drink, and then his wife took a sip as the man began to eat his few bites.
Again, you could tell what people around the old couple were saying. - "They were used to sharing everything."
Then the crowd noticed that the little old lady still hadn't eaten a thing.
She just sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally sipped some of the drink.
A young man came over and begged them to let him buy them another meal.
The lady explained that no, they were used to sharing.
As the little old man finished eating and was wiping his face neatly with a napkin, the young man could stand it no longer and asked again.
After being politely refused again, he finally asked the little old lady, "Ma'am, why aren't you eating. You said that you share everything.
What is it that you are waiting for?"
She answered,
"THE TEETH"

Awww, sis, don't be mad. We all have bad days sometimes, don't worry, inshaAllah things will get better. I wonder what happened.
I don't know if this is that funny, but there's some clean islamic jokes from www.islamcan.com. Here's one.
An Imam was selling his horse in the market. An interested buyer came to him and requested if he could get a test drive. The Imam told the man that this horse is unique. In order to make it walk, you have to say Subhanallah. To make it run, you have to say Alhamdulillah and to make it stop, you have to say Allahu Akbar. The man sat on the horse and said Subhanallah. The horse started to walk. Then he said Alhamdulillah and it started to run. He kept saying Alhamdulillah and the horse started running faster and faster. All of a sudden the man noticed that the horse is running towards the edge of the hill that he was riding on. Being overly fearful, he forgot how to stop the horse. He kept saying all these words out of confusion. When the horse was just near the edge, he remembered Allahu Akbar and said it out loud. The horse stopped just one step away from the edge. The man took a deep breath, looked up towards the sky and said Alhamdulillah!

Cry if it helps you work through the "badness" of it, then reflect on what it was that made you mad and examine why. After you pinpoint the source of your anger you can eliminate it's causes, whether it's someone else's causes and conditions or your contracting around your own sense of self getting upset... removing your buttons that other people can push is a huge relief in life, trust me. Oh and you look mah-velous!

as the story goes....... One day I was walking along the beach taking to Allah. There were 2 sets of footprints in the sand. I began thinking about my life. I remembered all of the bad times and I began to question Allah.... "Allah, why did you leave me to go through those bad times alone? When I look back I saw only 1 set of footprints" Allah said, "oh my child you should know I will never leave you for during the bad times when you saw 1 set of footprints.... it was then that I carried you". Those were my footprints that you saw
I hope this has helped you. It's ok to cry but remember to thank Allah for the bad days as well as the good days

Quran is the best!!
Family problems:
Two men, one American and an Indian were sitting in a bar drinking shot after shot. The Indian man said to the American,"You know my parents are forcing me to get married to this so called homely girl from a village whom I haven't even met once. We call this arranged marriage.I don't want to marry a woman whom I don't love...I told them that openly and now have a hell lot of family problems."
The American said, " Talking about love marriages?... I'll tell you my story. I married a widow whom I deeply loved and dated for 3 years. "After a couple of years, my father fell in love with my step-daughter and so my father became my son-in-law and I became my father's father-in-law.
My daughter is my mother and my wife my grandmother. More problems occurred when I had a son. My son is my father's brother and so he is my uncle. Situations turned worse when my father had a son. Now my father's son I.e. My brother is my grandson.
Ultimately, I have become my own grand father and I am my own grandson.
And you say you have family problems.. ?
