I am having my high school graduation party during the summer and it's going to be a pool party. The vast majority of my friends are female but I have at least 2 guy friends I would like to invite. Would they feel awkward being so outnumbered? Should I just not invite them to save them the discomfort?

Don't leave them out! I'm sure they'd enjoy it and your girlfriends would too, if they are nice, friendly guys.

If you'd like to have some 'girls only' time with your friends first, invite the girls for 11.30 am and the boys for 12.30 pm.

That way, the guys will walk in right at lunchtime, which they will appreciate and which will give them something to talk with your other friends about (what foods they like, etc).

Then everyone can relax for a fun and friendly afternoon!

Hope it's great and congratulations on your graduation :-)

Just let them know like you have let us when you are inviting them. Easy enough. It is up to them but most would be happy.
