Your mother does NOT hate you.
Did you ever think that maybe she doesn't HAVE the money right now?? Or maybe she's thinking that you're a spoiled, self-absorbed brat that doesn't DESERVE the money. Did you ask nicely or simply DEMAND??!
Sit and give the whole situation a good think and get back to us.

your mom doesn't hate you! why don't you spend your own $14? Oh. You don't have a job and work hard for your own money? Then why do you think your mom should spend $14 on something you want that probably isn't a necessity? Just wait till you have kids or have to pay your own bills. Maybe you could do some extra chores or earn the money from her somehow. Ask her what you could do.

What exactly do you want her to spend the $$ on? Is it something that you need or just want. Maybe she doesn't have it.
I'm pretty sure she doesn't hate you. She has put up with you all these years so she probabley likes you a little bit. She might even LOVE you! Ask her.

Parents who love their children tell them, "no." all the time.
I have daughters. I love them all the way to heaven and back.
I love them all the way to heaven and back AND they have enough stuff.
If we're out and about and they ask me for a stuffed dolphin, earrings, t-shirt, fingernails, make up, whatever the answer would be an easy, "no."
If they want that stuffed dolphin, etc sooooooooo baaaaaaaaad ;-) then they can remember to bring their own money with them the next time and we'll stop and pick it up. You might consider doing the same.
Please don't equate money with love. You can't buy love.

If you have a roof over your head, three meals a day and a mother who cares enough to tell you NO!! then $14 seems like a pretty petty thing to be complaining about.

Your mother does not hate you. If your 15 maybe 16, get your own job, and you'll have money to help your mother out. Stop being a begger or sponge, and do something productive, like make your own money.

How old are you? maybe you cna get a part time job and make the money yourself. I doubt she hates you just because she's not gonna spend money on you. (Unless it's like, 14 more bucks to go to a kidney transplant).

Maybe she can't afford it or she doesn't think you need whatever it is you want. If you are of age to get a job or can babysit to earn money, then quit griping and go buy your own $14 item.

She might be really cheap, been in a bad mood, or maybe she didn't approve of what you were asking money for. Either way this is not a sign of your mother hating you.
