I am wondering how old you are...Just curious.

Anyway, it is really up to the dentist if a filling is even an option for you. It might be past that and need to be pulled.

Whatever you do, you need to get to a dentist soon. Teeth decay pretty quickly once started, and you could be in some serious pain pretty soon.

Call your dentist right away and make an emergency appointment. If at all possible have the tooth filled or get a cap placed on it. It's always best to keep your teeth whenever possible versus having them extracted unless there is no other option.

In the meantime, until you see the dentist avoid eating anything on that side or stick to soft foods so that you don't further damage your tooth or a nerve.

They'll prob try to save the tooth. Removal only as the last option. Maybe you just need a filling. Best to see your dentist. They'll take xrays and be able to give you all the options. Good luck!

If you are not experiencing any pain, then your dentist may still be able to fill your tooth. If you are experiencing pain then there is a bigger chance the tooth will either need a more extensive procedure (ex: crown) or extraction. Please see your regular dentist as soon as possible to discuss treatment options. Good luck!

Try to ask the dentist what they recommend. I think that you should try and fill it instead of removing the tooth.

If it isn't hurting it might still be able to be filled, all depends. Go see your dentist for an exam.
