...besides the obvious answer of throwing him out the window or giving him food every 5 minutes.

I think you guys don't understand. He goes into PANIC WHINING MODE every time he doesn't have a carrot in his mouth. This is unacceptable.

He doesn't eat his dry guinea pig food, nor does he drink a lot. I think I spoiled him on fresh produce.
He whines whenever he doesn't have a carrot in his mouth. I'm not even kidding, I can't be in the same room without him freaking out for food.

I know EXACTLY what you mean! Any time I enter the living-room area, the guinea pigs start squeaking like crazy! What's MY solution? I throw a handful of mixed greens at them and run into my bedroom, where I hide out most of the time. Yes, I do talk to them and hold them and let them run around (they have a huge C&C cage), and they have each other, so they are not starved for affection. But honestly! I do find myself tip-toe-ing around my own house, trying not to be noticed by the piggies. They are like little motion-detector alarms!

You cannot spoil a guinea pig, nor will a guinea pig whine. Yes, they will squeak when you open a bag or refridgerator door. They think they are getting something.
Your pig needs at least a cup of fresh veggies every day. http://guinealynx.info/diet.html has exactly what you need to give him/her daily. He is squeaking b/c he is hungry. My pigs took a while to start eating pellets too. Make sure you have unlimited Timothy hay for they 24/7, especially if they aren't eating pellets.

I agree that if you don't want to hear the normal guinea pig noises and giving him the nutritional needs, consider finding a home that can. Guinea pigs are great, but not for everyone!

Mine did this. Do you have an igloo or something for it to hide in? That did the trick for me! If not, maybe consider getting it a friend b/c they are social and live in herds in the wild. A friend will keep it company and will calm it down for sure. They love to cuddle next to each other.

It's not a good idea to keep feeding it. Do you give it fresh fruits & veggies? Mine loves parsley, spinach, apples, and corn stocks. It's very important to supplement them w/fresh foods since they do not produce vitamin C.

My best guess though is that it's lonely so try to cuddle with it as much as possible. (I hold mine on a towel b/c it pees from excitement everytime it sees me.) I also have an extra cage outside so mine can get some fresh air & sunshine each morning.

I even have 2 lady guinea pigs and my buddy has 2 male guinea pigs. now and back while i bypass to work out my buddy and that i carry certainly one of her pigs they are able to scent the ladies on me. this could now and back cause them to get excited. They do many times leap on each and each oers backs while they get excited, and the hip rolling, it incredibly is termed rumble strutting. The guinea pig will walk slowly and roll their hips back and forth on a similar time as making a deep cooing noise. it incredibly is norm and is many times a exhibit of dominance or exhilaration from smelling or assembly a girl. This behaviour is frequent, yet while they are biting one yet another it incredibly is through fact which you have not offered them mutually. If 2 men are presented to one yet another in a while in life and that they have got not grown up mutually, they many times are not settled and that's difficult to cause them to friends. in case you have seperated them, I advise you slowly introduce them to one yet another quite than unexpectedly Mali them stay mutually. If this would not paintings and that they proceed to combat then they could not be waiting to stay mutually. however the rumble strutting and the leaping isn't something. i could problem approximately as my friends boys do this each and all the time. wish this facilitates :) x

Guinea pig whining is normal when you first purchase one. Its scared and intimidated by you. gentle and constant handling will eventually end the shrieks and squeals but you will always have the quiet whines which are a sign of contentment

Guinea Pigs are vocal animals. It's natural for a guinea pig to make noises. As long as he isn't sick or in pain, it is something you shouldn't try to stop.

First - are you feeding him enough hay? Piggies NEED hay, otherwise their digestive system doens't work properly, and they will die early. Try giving him lots of hay and grass.
