I don't really fall under either religious catagory but I will answer never the less.
I commune with God every day....and He with me...usually several times a day. This to me is prayer....even if it is not a get down on your knees thing. It began the moment I answered his call to me about three years ago and has never stopped.

Of course I wish I could be better at it. I think there's a hadith that says if one does it for 40 days (5 times a day) then he/she will become accustomed to it and not want to miss it.

Paul said to pray without ceasing. God does not have a ticker clock to see how long we pray or in what bodily position. We come to God in prayer because He is our Father and He loves our company. It is a love relationship, not compulsory.

I pray all the time. It's just talking to God--like talking to a friend. God helps get me through my day. I couldn't even count how many times I pray every day. I do like to pray at night alot. It's like someone else said--I go over my day with Him.

I talk to God about as often as I do everyone else. Mostly at night. I like to go over my day with him and ask him what I could have done better.
