Work in a financial department as a financial analyst. Going back to school for something completely different. Need a career that will challenge me and allow me to get out from behind a desk.

Well, yes and no.
I graduated with a B.S. in plant molecular biology and I first worked as a chemist/microbiologist and now I work in biotech. So I've never had a plant-related job, but the molecular biology background has really been useful.

Yes. Sort of. I have always been a bit critical of the amount of theory we learn in college, yet I have only used a small portion of it in industry.
Graduate with B.S. Chemical Engineering and M.S. in Engineering Management.
Now work as Engineering Manager (Chemical Processing Department) in High Tech field.
