My hair is incredibly dry and puffy, and my barber, even though I explained to her my puffy hair and it won't layer, layers it anyway and now I've got this puffy mess that isn't long enough to put into a ponytail. It won't grow out, it just stays the same length. I've tried shampoos, gels, I've tried multivitamins and everything. I need to know of there is some way I can get this hair to lie flat instead of puffing and actually staying down onto my head. I swear, it's so puffy it stands straight up. I'M VERY DESPERATE. I'm an actor and I've lost roles before because I wouldn't cut my hair because IT WILL PUFF IF I DO! I really need help. The craziest tips you have, I don't care. Thanks so much!!

if you want it to grow you must trim the ends. just enough to make them strong so you won't have breakage try using a flat iron it really helps. when i use it on my hair (really wild and puffy) it makes it completely straight and silky

Get and curling iron or a good straighter at a salon, with a good cut. I think you hair is breaking off faster than it can grow.
