Pocho is a derogatory term used (mostly) by Mexicans. It means americanized Mexican

In Spain "estar pocho" means to feel downhearted, depressed.

In Mexico, "pocho" is applied to a Mexican person who acts and behaves like a US person.

Applied to a fruit it means that it s soft , overripe

Pocho is a nickname, in Argentina they used to call President Peron "Pocho".
As he wore caps, sometimes a cap is called "gorro pocho" but this is only in Argentina.
